I visited this restaurant after hearing some positive things, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered a meal, only to find an insect in the food — something completely unacceptable, especially in a place that presents itself as upscale.
The service was also below expectations. The waiter who took and delivered my order seemed visibly unhappy and irritated. Their body language and expressions made me feel as though I wasn't welcome — at times, it truly felt like I was being told to leave just with a look.
As for the atmosphere, it lacked warmth and character. The lighting was poor, and the overall ambiance felt cold and uninspired. Sadly, this visit left me with no desire to return. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Huge portions, reasonable prices, the wait staff is super nice and helpful. Watch out when you pay - the gratuity is already added on the receipt but the credit card machine is set up to add % tip as well.

The vegan food was good. We are from NYC so thought it was very funny to have traveled so far to eat New York Chinese food. However, what is not normal in NY, or anywhere else I have been, is for a Chinese restaurant to not include rice with their food. In the rare instances where the food doesn’t come with rice, the staff usually says so when you order, or it’s on the menu. In this case, we ordered pick up on their website and there was no mention about no rice. The staff also didn’t say anything when we picked up the food. This restaurant is on a very touristy street, so it’s not like the staff thought we just wanted entrees to go with the rice we were making at home. We got back to the hotel very hungry and disappointed we weren’t able to start eating. We had to go to another restaurant to buy rice, which was ridiculous.

The food here was abysmal. I ordered their Ma Po Tofu and it tasted like egg drop soup?? My dad and I are vegetarian and we also found pork in our veggie spring rolls. Please save yourself from going here.

My son found hair in his rice twice, which we calmly brought to the server’s attention—not to complain or ask for a discount, but simply to make them aware. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the server dismissed it by saying the hairs were my son’s eyelashes, which felt both dismissive and unprofessional.
We were surprised by the lack of accountability, especially since we were just trying to offer a polite heads-up. On top of that, the chicken wings were bland and lacked any real flavor.
Sadly, we won’t be returning.

My family LOVES this restaurant. The food, the amazing service, the location, everything!!!! We drive out of our way to get to Niagara Falls to eat here. They always remember us and great us warmly. They take such good care if the kids. The food is fantastic! We tried the garlic Chinese broccoli last time and it was amazing. Love the General Tsao's chicken. And the Cantonese Chow Mein is fabulous.
We will definitely return again, and again, and again. Lol.
