I was greeted by a girl named Shefali. I was originally brought to a table that didn't have the greatest view, however after asking Shefali to change tables she was able to move some things around and get to a new table with the best view. The food was absolutely amazing.

Pretty expensive. It's such a shame that Canadian restaurants can't do fine dining very well. It always turns into a casual experience rather than something that's really over the top. It's in the details. The sticky table. The waiter, not taking our drink order. The air conditioner that sounds like someone is falling down when it turns on and goes from ice cold to boiling hot. The single urinal in the men's washroom. The staff "Blair Witching" in the dark serving area. Nice view.

Very nice restaurant with great view of the falls. Highly recommend for a special occasion. The food was delicious: we ordered New York steak with forest mushrooms, surf and turf, and fried calamari. Thanks to our server Jais who made the experience even more special!

Absolutely delicious!!! Had the prime rib steak, These guys really know what they’re doing and the service really was top notch !!! Some of the reviews on here are up-and-down, which made me a little nervous, but my God are those reviews wrong???. Best steakhouse, hands-down… I have a travel hours to get back

A lovely view but the food is absolutely horrible. It’s pre-made and microwaved which is not acceptable given the price point.

Although manger discounted meal. My steak was barely warm. Wouldn't melt the truffle butter. All appetizers were old and had a very bland flavor to them. Service great! But cold tasteless food ruined my experience

Prime was just okay. The food was fine, but we expected a better setting as the restaurant needs a few upgrades. However, the view was great as we faced the falls our entire dinner.

The ambience is nice but the food is much hyped. The steak we ordered medium but it came well. The food needs to be slightly seasoned and flavourful. The fish also needed seasoning. Overall it was not worth it.It was average food for 5star restaurant price.

Our server Jais was AMAZING! He was welcoming, knowledgeable & let us casually eat our meal. My husband and I were out for a romantic weekend celebrating our birthdays. The baked Alaska for our special dessert was delicious. We had perfectly cooked meals of steaks we wouldn't normally have. High quality service & food

The food was very good, but presentation and service made the experience less than we had hoped, especially considering the cost. The bottom line is that on the night we went, it appears that there was only one server. They weren't super-busy, but one server meant that she was tied up all the time. We got our drinks fairly soon, but we had to remind her to bring water and bread. We actually had to remind her twice to bring bread. We had to ask for the "Springlicious" menu that was advertised on their website. My salad came, and we still didn't have water or bread. That's the tempo of the service that night. Once we had water, it was never refilled, and once the bread was gone (a small but delicious loaf), it was never replenished. The host brought my salad, and the bartender brought our meals after wandering around the restaurant trying to find our table. The server brought our pre-dinner drinks, and our water, and our wine with dinner. My wife got the Angus filet and a side of asparagus, which was really good. I got the Caesar salad and the bacon-wrapped medallions, which turned out to be a single medallion cut in half on top of garlic mashed potatoes. When it was served, it was not the most appetizing presentation. I wasn't sure what the flat blob was under the two small pieces of meat at first, but then confirmed that it was the mashed potatoes. Everything tasted good and was cooked as requested, but something that expensive could have been made to look a little more appetizing. Since I ordered from the Springlicious menu, I also got the "Cheesecake in a jar", which was very good. I'm glad we went, but it wasn't the most memorable meal we've had.

The atmosphere and view are wonderful! Our host was warm and welcoming. The bread was delicious, drinks were good and the steak was decent. That's what earned the 2 stars. I am so terribly disappointed in Prime and do not understand all the raving reviews, nor the awards the restaurant has received (unless we just had a one-off experience). I took my mom for her birthday, traveling all the way from California to celebrate with her at the Falls, so I wanted something special. I thought I did my homework and picked a good spot, sending a note in advance that it'd be wonderful if they could help make it special in any way possible. The host wished her a happy birthday. That was the extent of their something "special." Our server was slow, never smiled, and made it seem like he wished he was anywhere else. There was no one to bus tables, and the server didn't seem to want to be bothered. The lobster was chewy and terribly salty (despite the server saying otherwise). We decided to skip dessert because we really just wanted to leave. Tack on three different surcharges, totaling 25%, that the waiter couldn't even explain, and it wound up costing $400 for the two of us. This being my first visit to Canada, perhaps I'm just a snooty and spoiled American who bought too much into the considerate Canadian stereotype, but I expect more for such a high-priced establishment, especially on Friday night of Valentine's weekend. We would've been happier getting burgers at Wendy's for a fraction of the cost. Never again. Do better, Prime Steakhouse.

We were invited to a work meeting here and we loved the food and atmosphere. This is one the best falls views at nights. I tried the old fashioned and it was damn good!

Outstanding food that was the literal definition of decadence. The view of the Falls was beautiful and the overall ambience of the restaurant was awesome. Our server was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. Great place to go if you're celebrating something special.

I went there with my family server served me the wrong steak. I was offered a new steak and given a credit for the wrong one of that makes any sense. I guess they need to hire a new manager that has better customer skills. Took the steak to go by the time it came out. Food wasn't the greatest for the high price point. In my experience if sauce is put on top of your steak it's to mask the awfulness of it. Maybe they should be hiring a new cook as well. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.
