Riverside Tavern

Found this place driving back to the campsite. Great location, nice place but not many there for a Thursday night at 6 pm. Bar tender says getting rid of draft beer and seemed to have attitude about everything, food was good! beer was cold! I don't go to bars for bottles of beer because I got that in my refrigerator, I need draft beer and a choice to try. Good luck with that. Sad because it could be so much more.

Music was so loud we couldn't speak to each other..food was Luke warm..we were the only people in the restaurant and we didn't get any service. Please.save your money and don't go

We ordered takeout and the food was SO GOOD!!! Service made me feel like I was at a great friends place!!! This is my new favourite place!!!!

Stopped in for beer and wings , always thought this was a sweet spot along the river. Place was clean inside , nice decor , and the wings were really great for $13 a pound. Will be back

Been going to the riverside for many MANY years, the previous owner was a friend and I’ve known the new one for 25 years, throughout the years the look has changed many times inside and out, but the food, the service, staff have remained consistently awesome! I love the new look and new menu as well, and the atmosphere can’t be beat.

mozzarella sticks were awesome, nice, large , and well breaded. WTF burger beef patty was nice round size and juicy, Mac and cheese was nice and creamy all homemade in-house. Will be back.

We were visiting Niagara Falls and came across Riverside Tavern. Had one of the best burgers ever. The owner is a great guy. Will definitely come back.

What a great spot! Especially if you can sit outside and watch the river go by. We're locals & stumbled on this place randomly. We were super impressed with the food - cozy, comfort food with a homemade gourmet flare (Turkey Brie Clubhouse was a hit). We're trying to figure out if we can paddle/boat here. Great lil destination when you're out and about?

After years of driving past this place and always wanting to stop in tonight my wife went there for dinner. This place is awesome we loved it, the owner and barmaid were fantastic and the food was great . We each had shepherds pie that came with a side and we had crab Rangoon for an appetizer, the best I've ever had. We live in Buffalo and drove along the river there but what a destination Riverside Tavern is. My new favorite place

Recommended this spot as it’s my brother in laws favourite place for wings. I’m not local and after driving for 2 hours one way, and having to drive another 2 back home, we decided to give it a shot before hitting the road.

First off, We were greeted right away by the owner and sat. Unfortunately, the booth seats are a little low compared to the table for me as I am 4’11 so we had to move to a high top table. Not a huge deal as the tvs were a lot closer at the high top and we weren’t given any grief about having to move. The owner and I had a good laugh over him having a booster seat he could’ve provided me for the booth.

They have a great selection of drinks, including many local wines. I was extremely sad that he was out of the Konzelmann Peach Wine, but i highly recommend this wine if you’re into a sweeter wine, especially in the summer. I ended up getting the raspberry martini which is made with pineapple juice, chambord and rasp. vodka; it was amazing!

As an appetizer, we decided on wings. Got a pound of Truffle Parm. I was expecting a wet and saucy truffle parm, but it was more of a dry wing flavour. The wings were fantastic and the flavour was delicious. They were fried perfectly. For entrees, I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the fettuccine alfredo. The sandwich was really good but the star of the night was the alfredo sauce. It’s made fresh in house and it was probably one of the best alfredo’s i’ve tasted.

Pricing wasn’t terrible for two people with an app, entrees with add-ons, a round of drinks and a round of pop. I was highly pleased with our experience here and I will definitely be coming back next time i come to visit my sister !

Excellent food and great service.We were served by the owner who even though he was short staffed and doing it on his own made our experience fun and enjoyable. Our out of town guests were very impressed.
