Shelby's Legendary Shawarma - Niagara Falls

Ordered the crispy butter chicken bowl. Thought it was gonna be actual butter chicken. But instead of chicken they put low quality beef and add butter chicken sauce. Absolutely disgusting.

Service and presentation are excellent. However, as they claim on their website that their shawarma is inspired by Syrian recipe, I don’t know if that’s true. As a Syrian who tries the best shawarma in Damascus for years, the spices of Shelby’s Shawarma don’t match the Syrian spices in anyway. I bet they use black pepper or similar strong spice which is a NO NO is real Shawarma. The real Shawarma comes with mild spiciness and white pepper is used with other specific spices that usually shawarma chefs keep it as secret. If you can’t figure out the right spices, at least substitute black pepper with white one. Also, the garlic sauce is little bit too garlicky.

I’m honestly gutted to be writing this because I’m a huge fan of Shelby’s and I eat here all the time. I’ve never had a bad experience before, but what happened after our pickup order on February 13th was honestly scary.
My two buddies and I grabbed some Brotein Wraps and fries, and within just one hour of eating, my first friend was already vomiting. By that night, the rest of us were down too. All three of us were in absolute rough shape and couldn't even look at food for two days straight. Since we only had some fruit for breakfast that morning, it was undeniably the food from this meal that caused it.
I really like this place and have always supported it, but getting this sick is just unacceptable and a major safety concern. I need someone from management to reach out to me about this. I have the receipt (Order #7979XXX) and all the details ready to provide to a manager so we can figure out what happened here.
