I called here to book a reservation for mother day lunch. The person on the phone wouldn’t write us down for a reservation as “we did not need one”. We arrived and it was a bit busy but were able to get a table. Our waitress was out right rude. Body language and facial expressions said it all. Gave major attitude to us, did not ask us a single time how our food was, or even give us a water. We had to ask for refills on our drinks. We waited an hour and a half for our food. Which was no problem expecting it to be fresh. I am a BIG seafood lover. So, I ordered the seafood risotto. As soon as the plate got thrown in front of me I instantly got a very strong fishy smell. I have never in my life smelt a seafood dish with that bad and strong of a smell. The outside of the clams and shells smelt like they came right out of dirty water and so did the rice. The risotto itself had no flavour. Lucky my mom’s dish was great. When it came to pay the bill, again, the waitress did not have a care in the world to how our food was, or us in general. We did not even get a “goodbye have a good day”. We got the machine slapped down the table and she left. I actually was in shock by this experience, especially on Mother’s Day. I have been here twice before and had a great experience…. What’s happened?

Excellent Italian food! This place came recommended by locals who said it was one of the best Italian restaurants in Niagara Falls. They were not wrong! Our server was very friendly and knew the menu very well. Meatballs for an appetizer were very tasty. The spaghetti carbonara was very flavourful, complete with a poached egg. The crab ravioli was outstanding! Very meaty, lobster sauce was excellent. What we really loved about this place is the chill atmosphere. A little loud, but it was busy. Not pretentious whatsoever. The locals were right, highly recommended.
Great food and cocktails (Sweet Tart) with a cool atmosphere. I had spaghetti and meatballs. The red sauce is the closest thing I’ve ever had to my grandma’s secret recipe. So good I declared my leftovers at the border to bring em back to the US with me 😆.

I'm not able to give zero stars or I would. We are visiting the falls and looked up places to eat online. Looked up directions and drove. Went to open the door and there was a scrap paper sign saying they were closing at 6.30pm for a private event. This place has a website, why not put a note there, too, and save people the annoyance.?!?

strada West has the best customer service everyone smiles and give everyone the best service we recently celebrated our birthdays there the food outstanding the atmosphere top notch i cannot say enough how much we enjoy going to strada west Anthony and his team are amazing thank you from Joe and I for a great evening
