I did not a very good experience ordering from this bakery. I ordered online and went to pick up at their location. When I arrived they told me the cake was not ready. They said they were having problems with their online ordering system. They said they would make the cake and deliver it to the hotel I was staying at. I said that was fine and waited for the cake to be delivered. The cake was delivered in a reasonable amount of time but the quality was subpar. I ordered the chocolate vanilla layer cake. The vanilla layers were very dry and the icing was way too sweet. Not impressed with my experience.

I made an order a week before and received my confirmation email however the day i was scheduled for pickup no one answered the phone i tried calling a lot of times and there was never a response until i got a text saying there was no order scheduled!!!! They did refund the money so that was a good thing! But the experience was really bad.

Discovered Sugar & Slice at the Grimsby Market and we are definitely repeat customers. The peach crumble pie is amazing, yummy cheddar scones are perfect with a bowl of soup, and the magic squares are moist and delicious. But the best by far are the ooey-gooey, fabulous buttertarts. Great quality and value for all the products. Michelle also did a custom ladybug cake (chocolate/vanilla layers) and the most adorable ladybug sugar cookies that everyone raved about.

My sister had requested a carrot cake for her recent birthday, and Sugar & Slice did not disappoint. Not only was the cake delicious, the icing perfect, but the quantity was enough we got to enjoy it for a couple of days. The multi-layered cake was a big hit with the entire family.Of course, we couldn't grab a cake without also bringing home an assorted 6-pack of the scrumptious butter tarts -- absolutely the best in Niagara.I'm looking forward to more sweet treat orders from Michelle in my very near future.
If you want decadence, this is where you want to go. At first, I thought a 6 inch cake was small but Michelle made it with 4 layers. It was perfect. My request was a carrot cake with raisins made like a Spanish Bar cake. A small slice with a cup of tea or coffee and you are in heaven! Thank you Michelle!!

This is the best kept secret in the Niagara area.We received a cake that was absolutely a piece of art. The taste of the cake itself... and the the butter cream icing was phenomenal.There is nothing anywhere that meets the high standards that are set here. Try this bakery...you will not be disappointed. I might add that it was delivered right to our house... which was great especially during this current Covid lockdown.

The cake was beautiful and presentation was lovely. My biggest issue with the tiramisu cake is that it was extremely sweet and had additional icing. We were expecting a tiramisu cake to be more traditional.
