Chirashi could have had more sashimi than egg and imitation crab and the rice was seasoned oddly. The sashimi slices that were there were really tiny. Tonkatsu ramen soup has improved since trying it when they had first opened but the noodles were overcooked.

The food was high quality and delicous and the prices are reasonable. The staff is also very nice and helpful. We sat in an isolated table and it was beautiful. This restaurant is definitely worth the try if you’re in Niagara falls. 😊

Ordered take out salmon maki rolls, dynamite rolls and two spider roll orders. The salmon rolls tasted sour as if the fish wasn’t fresh. The spider rolls were supposed to include soft shell crab but there was just a taste of oil and breading and I didn’t really taste or see crab and the sauce was pure mayonnaise and there was asparagus inside which I’ve never seen and while it’s listed in the website ordering description I thought it would be made appetizing but it literally just felt like I was eating panko, re fried oil, mayonnaise and asparagus. There must be some shady activity in the area as well as when I sent my husband and nephew in to pick up my order and he verified the name and phone number the reaction he got was as though this order didn’t belong to him but we order sushi on a regular basis in the GTA and either one of us goes in to pick up and it’s fine. Maybe their other dishes for dine in are better but the sushi rolls we ordered were very bad. I couldn’t tolerate the taste and didn’t eat mine which I don’t do unless it’s unpalatable. So it was an expensive $55 take out and we drove home for hours as hungry as we came!

The vegetarian ramen was basically a religious experience. Like an umami incantation. But totally unpretentious, unlike this review. The broth tasted like making out with a really sexy mushroom. Like what if Zayn Malik was a mushroom? If he was, this is what he would taste like. Seriously though, we ordered like 20 items and every single one was our favorite one. Highly recommend.

Now to be up front they said there was a surprise large reservation that they were hosting which led to my scoring. I had the Dan Dan ramen which was a bit bland. It needed salt, and the rainbow roll needed to be pressed as the fish and avocados were falling off. Before my food came out I drank my cup of water empty and never got a refill. It's a cute shop hope they improve the flavor profile a bit on the broth

Fresh and delicious sushi I had a great experience at Taku! I ordered a sushi boat and everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The salmon and tuna were especially tasty, and the rolls were perfectly made. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy sushi. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This place was such a friendly environment. I love the seating area I was in today! The ramen was pretty decent, the chicken and dumplings were yummy as well. My boyfriend enjoyed the salmon sushi deal today. The pineapple drink they had that included rum was good as well! The service was good, the servers check in every so often during your meal.
Tried this restaurant the other day and loved it! The ramen was super tasty - rich broth, chewy noodles, and all the toppings were fresh and delicious. The service was great too. Definitely a place I'd go back to when I am going to Niagara.
