I was there last night with my girlfriend . It our usual place to go to but last night I end up fuming end of the nigbt . .. we got there around 8ish wasn't busy.. took the server 30 min to even get our drink and food order. Then when we got our food, she came back an hr after our food to see if we wanted more drinks. As my gf go out for drinks I try to flag her down to order everyone drinks noticing how slow services was . She ignore me and end up coming by when my gfs came back . This reason was already making us meh about the place but what made me give this review is the fact when I pay my bill after she told me she forgot a drink so me and my friend told her just put it on my other friend bill instead of making another bill for me since it was midnight and we been waiting half an hr for our bill. than server Corner one of my friends as she going to the bathroom asking why I didn't tip her. Then came back and asked me in front of everyone as they are paying the bill why I didn't tip her.( the rest if the group did tip her so she still got tips ) & the fact she messed up our bills she put one of my drink on my other friend bill also . So that's 2 drinks on my bill she forgot. But it's unacceptable to point out someone for not tipping and I didn't mind I told her why but to do that was unbelievable.This just ruined my go to place with my gfs.I always been a person to tip any server well this was the first time ever that someone made me this upset .

Honestly we have come here many times and have had some great meals. Unfortunately the last time was not great at all. My husband always orders the steak dip sandwich and unfortunately the meat they used tasted like fish and even smelt like it. He didn’t even touch his food he brought it up to the server when she came to do a quality check. She only kept apologizing and saying it’s new meat we got (which I don’t think should smell or taste fishy) nothing was offered like maybe a different meal so he could enjoy something that evening. All we got was a free piece of cheesecake they still made him pay for a meal he didn’t even eat. Being in the industry you clearly do not care about making it right with your customers. We definitely will not be back!

We were introduced to The Eager Beaver through some family members who live near by. We are always looking for new places to eat in Niagara area that are out of the tourism area.The Eager Beaver is a sports Bar style restaurant, but the food options are better than average sports barsWe ordered fish and chips, wings, Chicken and waffles.The food portions are very large.The fish was lightly breaded and fried golden, and is served with fresh cut fries and mushy peas. very authenticThe wings are nice and well prepared.The Chicken and waffles were delicious.Our server was very friendly, attentive and helpful. She was excellent.I will definitely be coming back to this place, and probably making it a regular visit.

The nachos are always amazing, wings and pizza are okay. Schooners were $9, pretty good deal. Would have drank more but all the domestics they had were Anheuser-busch. Should get some local brands in there.Edit: The portions and prices of the nachos has changed drastically. Way smaller now and more pricey, but they still taste amazing. One gripe; our nachos when dining in are amazing and layered properly with an even spread of cheese on every chip in between. When we order takeout nachos the cheese is sparse, all.chips underneath have nothing on them and seemed to be less meat.

Foods good and you can order online but the price you get charged at pickup will always be a couple bucks more than total payable on website. This is simple laziness by management by not updating online ordering prices but I’ve slowed down on ordering from here because of it.

The chicken wing quality is top-notch! Tasted like the meaty ones from Costco. The price is a little high, but everything in NF is geared towards soaking the tourists, so I get it.
