The Fry (korean fried chicken)

We ended up here when our other Korean fried chicken place was closed. The place is a little hole in the wall, but the food and service was really good. I really liked the touch screen device at your table to order your food or call the server. We got 2 types of boneless fried chicken which were so delicious and some rice. Very pleased with this place and we will definitely be back again.

Family and I are from Florida, our first time visiting Canada. We decided to try The Fry for the first time and we were NOT disappointed. Rice cakes were delicious, chicken was amazing, and we are in love with the cheese balls. The lady at the counter was so sweet and took her time to explain to my mom how to order. I would 100% recommend and will return. Thank you for the great experience!!

I live in Mexico, visited Niagara in October, and visited Niagara again in December while traveling in eastern Canada. While searching for a chicken restaurant, I called even though it was Christmas day and they said it was open. After checking in at the accommodation in On the Lake Village, we drove 30 minutes to Niagara for an early dinner and ordered chicken and tteokbokki.
First, I ate the tteokbokki that came out first and was amazed. The taste of red pepper powder was something special. I really liked that it had a lot of vegetables, and the sauce was so delicious that I added a bowl of rice and mixed it all together.
The second garlic chicken and fried chicken were half and half, and I was once again surprised by the quantity when it came out. Ah~~~ It was plentiful and the color was different because they used clean oil. The batter was very thin and crispy~~ The garlic seasoning was also very tasty. There was.

I was so full that I packed up the leftovers and am now eating them at the hotel. Even when it cools down, it’s delicious and still crispy.
As a Korean, I am very proud and satisfied that there is such a delicious chicken restaurant overseas. hehe
If you are traveling to Niagara, please be sure to stop by here. I have absolutely no regrets. The owner made a great impression and was very kind, and even though he was open non-stop for customers on Christmas day, he never lost his smile.
It was a meaningful Christmas day with very delicious food during the trip. I'll stop by again.

It was the most delicious restaurant during my 8-day trip to Canada. It was a place where you could feel the nostalgic taste of Korea and also feel the warmth and kindness of the owner.

Unfortunately didn't get to try. Was staying in niagara falls, and google says that they close at 11pm. Instead of ordering food via Uber eats we wanted the in person experience, but when we arrived at 10pm by uber, we were unwelcomed and was told that they actually close at 10:30pm and that we can order to go or go to another location in st.catherines. when we mentioned the google timing and that we ubered, she said okay we can sit if we order right away but with negative energy and we were told we cannot go into the dinning room but rather eat at the front tables by the door where ppl wait for their to go orders. We had our order in mind, but she let us sit there for 5 minutes even though she said order right away. She passed over food to the couple waiting for their to go food and didn't acknowledge us and wouldn't look at us, and felt the attitude. At that point we said forget it. I hate feeling like a burden or unwelcomed. Their hours say 11pm, therefore they should close at 11pm or at least have a sign or notice that dining room closes earlier if that is the case and not make us feel like we did something wrong. Waste of an uber and time when we could've stayed in the casino area. No customer should ever feel like they did something wrong when we planned accordingly to their hours.

Wonderful service. Our server (Sara) was so kind and friendly. My friend celebrated her birthday at this restaurant and we had a great experience! 😍❤️ We will always come back.

Perhaps it’s just me but what Korean restaurant doesn’t have soy sauce or Kim chi? Also the lunch meal came with a drink but I didn’t get an option for what type of drink. They just had a Coke already in the tied of bag. Bit of a weird experience. Had the spicy chicken. Food was good however.

We waited very long for each dish, called for staff at least 3 times on the tablet on the table and they didn't respond, until we had to go over to the counter to request the drinks we ordered. When we realized Tables that came in after us got served before us we had to go up to the counter to ask about it. Even we were finally served, we ordered half and half chicken and told the server it tasted the exact same way and looked the exact same, she gave an attitude and insisted it was different.
I have been to many Korean restaurants and if I tell you the dish tastes the exact same and you didn't get our order correctly, don't show attitude, just try to correct it. We only ate one piece from each of the two dishes and left everything. Didn't even get the rice we ordered. Honestly felt discriminated against, because the whites and Asians got met with quick service and better attitudes. They took the full $83 even though we didn't receive what we ordered. And didn't even try to save the situation.
Had she even said, "no problem, would you like me to add some more spice to it?"
That would have been fine..
But honestly the WORST service I've ever received in a Korean restaurant
