In January I made a reservation for 7 people for dinner, I had to use my credit card to pay $20 per person for the reservation! We all showed up for the reservation, we enjoyed the food and the restaurant! I was assured that I would be reimbursed the $140 to my credit card. When I checked my statement I realized that I hadn’t been reimbursed, therefore I called and I left a message with my phone number and the details! I received no response and I called again the next day, still not speaking with anyone and left another message! I was in NF’s the 2nd day, I decided to stop by the restaurant. The response from the person from behind the bar when I explained why I was there was very flippant! He said he did reimburse me after the 1st message! I said I would have appreciated a phone call, he shrugged and apologized! I’m not sure if I’d return with that kind of hospitality! I was disappointed!

Love the ambiance, food and service at Tide and Vine. Love sitting at bar - the energy gives us an out of city vibe despite we are 5 minutes away.

Thank you to all the people serving. Everybody was amazing and attentive! Combined with such great food and a chill atmosphere. I definitely recommend trying their scotch bonnet with the oysters and yellow fish tuna tare tare!
Most definitely be returning when we come around the Niagara area 😊

We've wanted to try Tide & Vine for quite some time and took this opportunity to try this unassuming spot nestled in the suburbs of Niagara Falls.
The spot was a bit noisy on the evening we visited, but not too loud that we couldn't hear each other talk.
We had a dozen oysters, lobster rolls and beef tenderloin.
Overall, I'd highly recommend!!

Been twice, and. Otherwise times the chowder has been the star. Their fries are also fantastic.

Fresh PEI Oysters, Seafood Chowder were delicious starters. As for the the Sherry Braised Short Rib - we'll, it was was the most tender melt-in-your mouth piece of Meat. Plate accompaniments were so flavourful and well matched.
Only down side of the visit was out table was too small. Understandable, the space is small on the dining side. Ambience was nice and not too loud over Dinner time dining.

Came here because of its reputation and ordered according to xhs.
1. The legendary lobster roll is cold, but the one I ordered is hot, and it tastes delicious when dipped in lemon juice.
2. Seafood soup: The so-called ingredients are sufficient, there are a lot of potatoes, and it is slightly salty.
3. Tuna salad, the meat is tender but not amazing.
4. The fries that come with the burger are really delicious😋
5. You can order oysters🦪 according to your preference, they are delicious.
Overall, the seafood is delicious and you can check out the Great Falls.

This place is a gem, the food is incredible, the staff is friendly, and it’s very cute. Unpretentious atmosphere where you can tell the people genuinely enjoy what they do, and they do it really well.
Here is what we had
- Oysters: there were 7 types, Tristan, the oyster shucker behind the bar described them each to us and explained the different species, he was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with, there are also 4 homemade sauces, all of which were fantastic, my favorite was the mignonette
- Steak tartar: knocked it out of the park, very fresh and delicious, and a good portion size, the aioli is a stand out
- Caviar: I had never had caviar before (that’s actually the reason we visited here), it was great, would definitely order again, it’s available as a bump or tin
- Cocktails: we had the clementine margarita, old fashioned, and mocktail margaritas, all of which were delicious, the margaritas were made with fresh lime juice (if you know, you know this makes a huge difference), the old fashioned was awesome too
- Braised short rib entree: very good, the presentation and quality was fine dining but again in an unpretentious atmosphere
Prices were very reasonable, I can’t recommend this place enough, we were planning a visit back while we were still there. Definitely recommend reserving a spot at the bar to get the full effect.
