My dad lives in a retirement home and it isn’t often that he feels well enough to go out but today was a good day. I was disappointed to get bacon that was deep fried. It was like brittle shards of bacon without flavour
My Mom and Dad absolutely loved coming in for lunch. I came in with Al and Lois numerous times and it was always amazing. Unfortunately my Dad passed away in late September and I had to move Mom closer to me. Anna always came out to say hi and recognize them. Sincere Thanks. They loved you all. Mom always had the French toast and Dad the bacon and eggs. I loved the Buffalo chicken poutine.
Cozy diner with the interior that kinna brings you back decades. (A bit out of the way from the core Falls area though). I felt the food didn’t wow me with more than 3.5-star (veggie skillet was too wet and home fries wasn’t too flavourful), but other guests felt the food was more of a 4-star. The staff hit the right stride on service, which was equally important.
