Worst mojito ever!!!
We stopped in for just a drink at the bar and ended up staying for appetizers and even returning later. The service, atmosphere, quality and value were excellent. The expresso martini was the best I’ve ever had. The cherries were a unique touch we ended up loving. I hope to recreate at home. I ordered the Dino Kale side salad and loved it. I wish we had time to have dinner here. We will be back.
We were looking a place for a lunch and found 11th Post on Queen Street.
We visit the property May 16th for a lunch.
Our server was good and had good suggestions for the menu, good atmosphere, great selections of drinks but food taste and quality was average.
All the respect hard working kitchen team.
Maybe our expectation was high, however the chicken sandwich was loaded very messy and soggy, fries was also soggy and not fresh, crab cake was not well mixed and was also soggy but tomato jam on top was successful.
“comparing with my other experiences, I was expecting more crispy out and tender inside”
Tuna bowl was nice fresh and delicious
Foie Gras and chicken liver pate had pretty heavy smell that I couldn’t eat it, even I love Foie Gras.
We will visit again since we are NOTL locals, hopefully we can get better food experience this time.
Great meal in a beautiful environment
My goodness. We’ve been underwhelmed here previously but gave it one more chance. Started with ordering an aperol spritz and an old fashioned. We sat at the bar and witnessed it all. An ounce of aperol , no presecco , 5 oz of soda. Then about 1 oz of bitters. Then the bartender left. I assumed to make simple or get some sugar. Came back with neither 5 minutes later. Added whiskey. $18 a piece. Took about 10 minutes after these were finished to pay the bill with an empty bar. It should remain empty. Tourist trap of all tourist traps. Avoid at all costs.
Excellent food and great service. A bit pricey but you have consider the location.
What a great atmosphere and very welcoming & friendly. I also have to say, their burger is quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. It was my birthday lunch and I can definitely say, I will be a frequent guest:)
I went back to 11th Post for Mothers Day lunch with my family after having 2 amazing dinners there and I continue to be incredibly impressed! Our server, Al, was fantastic and super attentive with our whole group. The food was all delicious. The menu was a Mothers Day special menu which was nice to have something different to try from the dinners I had had and everything was incredible. Despite being very full from lunch, we ordered 2 desserts that were both delicious and well portioned! I am not normally an Apple crisp person, but one bite of this one has converted me. It was amazing. With 2 appetizers, 3 mains, 2 bottles of wine and 2 desserts, the price was incredibly reasonable. Can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes!
For the price and location it was subpar. First, the service started off good, but we were left alone for long periods of time. Our drinks were never refilled the entire meal.
The food was ok, but the fries were not freshly made, they were like warm and limp/soggy, not crispy and hot. My meal was also supposed to come with pickles but there were none. The atmosphere was the only real redeeming quality. They also forgot our starter/appetizer. Basically just said “oops sorry, here are your mains”. For what they charge I wasn’t happy with my visit.
HIDDEN GEM!!
Amazing food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the nachos:) The staff was friendly and attentive, making our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!
Restaurantji Recommends
Food is ok. Not different from any other restaurant.
Very pricy for what it offers. I would not be returning as I think I can find same quality of food for cheaper
EXTREMELY LOW QUALITY FOOD!!!
I went there with my husband to celebrate my birthday on Friday evening!
The service was good and the server was nice!!! However the most important part which is the food was very bad…
We ordered lemon soda with lavender, Tuna bowl, crab cake, chicken sandwich with fries and chicken liver with some toasted bread, NON OF THEM was good. I didn’t enjoy any of them neither, the dishes were cold and tasteless. After all my husband asked me if I want some dessert and my answer was just get me out of here.
I hope you’ll do something about the food to improve the flavour.
However I won’t be back or recommend it to anyone.
Happy hour 9-10:30 pm (Fri & Sat)
- not busy at all on a late Friday night of the May long weekend 2025
- soft seating everywhere inside + outdoor patio
Beef brisket nachos $15 = perfect in every sense:
- tangy, saucy melt in your mouth brisket
- high quality nachos with delicious seasoning
- high quality avocado dressing, lime sour cream, cheese
spinach artichoke dip $12: excellent quality & flavour but dip is a small portion
One of our favourite places in Niagara. Prices could be a few dollars less for what it is, but the food always hits. Beef Dip is especially amazing!
We went there with a small group with reservation.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and nicely located.
We were sited properly with courtoisie by the young staff.
From the menu, there isn’t much to select, very limited option. The portion are big possibly be shared. The ingredient they use seems fresh.
What we did not like, first we drove all the way from Toronto and the waiter was rushing us as they were waiting a large groupe to come.
The food looked amazing, but tasted plain and served cold. We ordered a shrimp (24$ for 3 shrimp), I couldn't eat, it smelled so bad (no issue with the shrimp, it was just not cooked properly or not raw cleaned). We notified the waiter but they still charged for it.
The success of a restaurant boils down to the food first, then the service and last the atmosphere.
The overall experience was poor for the money they charge.
