Balzac's Coffee Roasters

Shocking experience. I frequent Balzac’s in Toronto distillery and this one was shocking. Staff (baristas) messed up the order and had the audacity to blame me and lie. When I went back to the cashier, (Asian Indian lady deserves to be commended for her kind treatment admit rudeness from other staff) she kindly confirmed the receipt and my order was placed correctly. One of the Caucasian baristas was particularly rude and I overlooked it but that’s not how customers should be treated. Coffee was burnt as well. Was compensated eventually for one drink that was messed up after the barista challenging me rudely.

Go there sometimes if in NOTL. Usually they make good coffee however I would suggest girls who work there to be less distracted when they serve customers that's why 4 for service.

The atmosphere of this location is very welcoming and warm, it’s tidy and clean, and has relatively decent space to walk and maneuver inside without feeling crowded! You’ll have no problems finding seats as there’s indoor and outdoor seating, so if you desire to take a moment to relax, you will 100% be able to take a moment to enjoy your coffee and snack. Unfortunately, there is a set of stairs to get inside the building, so it’s not fully wheelchair accessible.

The staff are nice - Service was great, my barista made a little bit of extra coffee for me and poured it into a slightly bigger cup! It wasn’t too busy here, when I first arrived to when I paid and left this location, it was a 5ish minute period.

There is street parking right outside, but it’s paid street parking. There is free street parking, but you do have to drive around a little bit to find it - There is a paid public parking lot basically right behind in the back, but I believe you also have to pay to park.

Parking: There isn’t any designated parking for this location - But there is paid street parking right outside, and if you know where to find it and don’t mind walking a brief moment, free street parking nearby. There is around the corner a paid parking lot, and that’s usually for people wanting to walk around town and spend the day.

The place was packed (holiday weekend!) but the service was still quick and pleasant! the coffee was delicious and the decor adorable!

The coffee shop is convenient located downtown Niagara on the Lake. The patio at the back is the great place to meet and mingle with friends.

Parking: There is no parking onsite, but plenty paid parking on the street. During the holiday or weekend time, the street parkings filled up quickly, but it is not a problem during the weekday.
