Fritters on the Lake

My husband and I visited Niagara on the Lake for the first time yesterday. We stopped into Fritters on the Lake and were absolutely so impressed. Not only was the lunch recommendation on point; the fritters were absolutely amazing. However, the best thing ever was the service! Zoran was the kindest person ever and when I spoke to my family by phone later in the day-he was the first one I told them about. I’m not sure when I’ll make it back but Fritters on the Lake will be my first stop and everyone that is headed that way will have my highest recommendation. Was very disappointed especially since there have been lots of positive reviews for this place. Got the double fritters and they were exceptionally small, mini donut sized. Not what I was expecting for the price of $7.50. They were also overdone. The surprise extra portion was a nice gesture but again, overdone and very small. I’m hoping it’s just an off-day but coming from very far away, I’ll likely not return

Delicious fritters made right in front of you. Didn't eat them right away as we just had lunch but wanted to try them. Lovely treat when we got home. Tasty firm apples and hot crispy batter ..Will be back!

These are donuts, not fritters. Small portion and the sugar topping overpowers the canned apple filling flavour. Won't return

Delicious light snack. Made upon order, so it’s very fresh and warm. I prefer original apple fritter without any topping because apple filling already enough sweet. What a friendly cashier, always smiling?😅

This is the first time that I’ve been here. I was on my way to work, as this place is a minute away, and I wanted a pre-work snack before I started my shift.
The place is on the smaller side, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The workers there are incredibly nice and treat you like family, they make sure you’re taken care of when you first arrive to when you leave. There’s outside and inside seating, so you can sit down and enjoy your fritters while you eat. The fritters themselves tasted fantastic, they’re warmed up too! You have options as to if you want them with any toppings or just as the fritters themselves, not to mention they have a small drink list. The wait time is minimal, I was in and out within 5ish or so minutes.
I highly recommend going here, and I will definitely be going back!

Best apple fritter I’ve ever had in my life I normally hate apple fritters. My cousin got one order and I tried it, finished it then went back immediately for another round. Get it with the sauce on top for another experience.

The local shuttle bus driver said to stop a local treasure. The smell on the street was enough to bring me in.
Everything is made fresh and apple 🍎 fritters her hot. Yum.

I popped in for a snack and the fritters are delicious, mouth melting and always seem freshly made (not as I'm old but that they can't keep them on shelves long enough). Excellent service. Wholeheartedly recommend & will go back!
