Terrible customer service. We went to see Dwayne Gretzky, the last of the summer concert series of 2025 so you would think they had all the bugs worked out. Nope.
We tried to buy a bottle of wine to consume in their courtyard prior to the show and were sent from the outdoor line up (which we waited in), to the tasting room, which she also said no even after being sent there by the lady outside. We were then sent to the bar at the restaurant who tried to send us back to the tasting room, until I told them the fiasco. Who knew it would be so hard to get a bottle of wine at a winery?
We chose the bottle and noticed it was $10 more from the bar than from the tasting room. We enquired and were told it was a corking fee. I have never, ever had a corking fee from a winery when they are opening their own product! Ridiculous, total money grab.
Then a bit later we lined up again at the outdoor kiosk to get a couple cans of cider, told to go in to the bar again. Got into the bar to order cans of cider, they only had one can available. All the staff were frazzled, stressed and frankly terrible. I would never go here again for a tasting, meal or event (even though Dwayne Gretzky killed it)! Disorganized, cranky staff and a corking fee for their own bottles is a hard no from me, here on out.
PS the actual event staff, in the red shirts were freaking amazing! So fun, friendly, helpful, we loved interacting with them! We especially loved Anne, with an e, she was THE BEST!!
I've worked for these people in the past ,very angry people, try not letting it out on your workers, that's how you get a bad name ,who are yous people anyway ,you think you're more important than everyone else owning a winery , not so ,I don't wish yous any good luck!!!! Boooooo
Service was great, the winery is gorgeous, the food smelled amazing all though we did not eat
Hailey was great!! Very knowledgeable and had no problem choosing the wines for our tasting for us because we were so undecided. Great job Hailey!!
Great time, great grounds, and we had an amazing day of weather. We did not do the tour. Just did a tasting and walked the grounds.
We had such a wonderful experience at Jackson-Triggs Winery! Our server, Tracey, was absolutely amazing – so warm, hospitable, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her energy really elevated the visit and made it extra special.
Service was a solid 5/5, and the food was equally excellent – also 5/5. Everything came together perfectly for a really memorable experience. Highly recommend!
Went on the estate tour and ended up being the only people on the tour - Yvonne the guide was amazing, everyone we spoke to was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The wine was great as well. Would highly recommend.
Not a big fan chairs are very hard and menu was very weird much nicer wineries to visit
Our family went for a dinner celebration for my mother-in laws 67th birthday. We always go to wineries for these type of celebrations and thought we would give this one a go. First server we had was great then she disappeared right after giving us water never to return. Watched an argument between the staff right after .. so great start. Had another take our order after we all sat with empty water glasses from the wait. Food was good but service was horrible. Seemed like we were an inconvience to them with a party of 6. Never refilled water, gave cutlery or asked how food was. We asked for a dessert to sing happy bithday. They said they dont have any or do that here. Pretty sad bithday experience. Hopefully they step their game up being one of the biggest. Will be our first and last time there. Sorry for the bad review, but the talks after a dinner celebration should not have been about how bad it was.
Didn’t expect this portion for the tasting in a good winery!!!
There was a bug in one of the glasses.
The charcuterie was good.

Returning after a great experience a few years ago. The cheese board was disappointing, Brie, blue cheese and camel milk Gouda. Nothing Canadian, no great pairing-waiter tired to hide the fact it was camel milk…would have been happy with a chunk of cheddar to pair to my wine. The peach foccacia was more like pound cake with tiny bits of peach- passable if it was a dessert but not as a share plate/starter at a winery…who designed this part of the menu and how about some celebration of Canada. Went to the back area for an ice wine tasting. Young woman was very knowledgeable about all aspects of wine and both samples were very good.
We had such a wonderful time at Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate. The staff welcomed us with the warmest smiles and made us feel right at home. The wine selection is excellent, and every sip was enjoyable. The food was also outstanding. The peach focaccia was absolutely delicious and a must-try! Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Niagara, it’s an experience you won’t forget. THANK YOU to Glenna, Lexi, and Darren!
Arrived Saturday 11:30am. Told wine tour start at 12:30. Seated on the patio. Served water. Waited 30 minutes. Asked a server if someone could take our order. Ordered a wine flight. Watched others get served wine and food. 20 minutes passed still no wine. Water was cold and wet. So just left. Nice view of the vineyard. Come to NOTL at least twice a year. JT of the list. Did visit 3 other winerys and purchased wine.
Great view. Horrible service. We waited 30 minutes and finally flagged someone to take our order. We placed an order for our flight. We waited another 20 minutes and no flight came. We were served two glasses of water each. We left.
This was our first visit to Jackson Triggs Winery, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. We love Jackson Triggs wine — it’s the only wine we drink at home — but the winery experience was disappointing. It took 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged our group of six, even though others who arrived later were served first. Our wine flights were mixed up, and instead of resolving it, the staff blamed us.
The lobster nachos tasted good but were soggy from being smothered in sauce, which would have been better served on the side. My mom’s cheese plate didn’t match the menu, though the staff did replace it with another dish. They also mentioned being understaffed, which may explain the issues, but overall the visit fell far short of expectations.
