We had a lovely anniversary lunch on the patio and dining room. We had to move inside quickly for a surprise summer storm, but the staff were wonderful in moving us. Fantastic food, great setting and I'd especially recommend it for US citizens because the exchange is heavily in our favor, making it an even better value. I loved the signature lobster linguine and the cheese and charcuterie board.
We have been at the Peller Winery a number of times and anticipated the usual excellent experience. This was not up to their usual standard. We gathered on arrival thathere wer an unanticpated numebr of bookings close togetehr, and pour server made a numebr fo apologies for slow service during the evening. One of the dishes, the scallops crudo, was an unusually bitter combination and the scallops themselves were not tasty. The ost annoying part was that the Wine Country Gift cards w planned to use, and which carry the Peller logo among others, were rejected. We will follow this up with the gift card company, but apparently Peller has ended their working relationship with this group. So a pleasant evening was somewhat marred.
Not our first time here. Last night we could truly see the change. Way over priced for really basic and poorly presented food. There is only the 2 or 3 course option now. The price point is ridiculous. My guest had the burger and it was dry and came with a few cold potatoes, like an oil salad dressing, truly unremarkable. Sadly with these set menus the servers are guaranteed an exorbitant service tip. You know, 18 to 30% on the little payment pad. Truly disappointed.
As always, Peller Estates is our favourite place to wine & dine. We highly recommend any dish and suggested pairing. We particularly enjoy the tasters menu. Thank you Peller for another amazing evening.
I m from Hawkesbury Ontario. The first time Peller estate winery and not our last time . Service exceptional and great foot . We have a great experience .
Originally booked a table for 4 at the restaurant and when my friends decided to join me, I called to add 3 more ppl to my booking (2-3 days prior to the date). The restaurant staff told me that there was nothing available and couldn’t do that. I said I could do earlier or later than my original time booked. So she took a minute and then came back to tell me that yeah could arrange table for 7ppl at 12 instead of 12:30pm. So I was thankful for the lady’s help. Then we went there and we were the only party in the main dining room until 1:30pm (and then another table for 2 came in)…. 🤔. I thought that was just funny. If one wants to order the tasting menu, then the entire group must order the same. Given my teens and some friends didn’t want to eat so much, we decided to go for a-la-cart. Some dishes were ok and some were less (my friend got a lobster linguini and a bunch of pasta was stuck together uncooked - not quite acceptable for this type of restaurant but anyways we didn’t complain). If you like presentation and nice amber, then it was above average. If you need very good service (they couldn’t split the bill for us, and when we told them it was for the occasion of my friend’s son’s birthday, the waitress brought some sparkling wine for us and we told her that oh, but the birthday boy is not old enough to drink, so she just poured the adults a glass which we were happy about, and eventually no offer of any dessert or anything for the birthday boy but we were quite full by then and so didn’t order any desserts) and a more cosy setting, then there are better alternatives in the area (my favourite is still Vineland, just my own opinion).
Visited Peller Estates winery on a weekday in November and was not very busy . Booked Greatest winery tour for 4 and tour started on time with guide giving in depth explanations about the wines to be tried. Tour lasted about 45 minutes and ended with visit to ice cave. Nice “igloo” style room with plenty of ice wine and nice decor. We continued to wine store/bar and tried additional wines as part of the Wine Club. Very much enjoyed everything.
Thank you for a fantastic tasting. Ty our host was very knowledgeable and informative making our experience uniquely enjoyable.
I’ve been to many wine tours before, but this one was by far the best one I’ve been to. We got the best tour guide- Chelsea. She was very knowledgeable, outgoing with a great sense of humour. The wine was delicious and the atmosphere of the place was amazing.
Overall 5 star here because of Chelsea. She made our experience memorable!
Absolutely phenomenal experience! I'd give 6 stars if I could.
Our taxi driver the night prior suggested the Peller Wine Tour, and thankfully we were able to fit it in on our honeymoon, as the entire experience became our favourite part of our trip! We started with the last tour of the day with Danielle, who was lovely and really knew her stuff! She was friendly, fun, and made the whole tour a great time! Being off season we also got basically a private tour, with only one other couple on the tour with us. The ice wine lounge was so cool (literally and figuratively) - they have winter coats available if you don't have one with you.
Following the tour we ended up staying for dinner and we are so glad we did. It has replaced our prior best meal together and best meal ever! Our host was Samantha and server was Jessica, both so kind and smiley and amazing at their jobs. Chef was in, which I believe Danielle mentioned before the tour and said he always puts his flare on the meals, which he really did! We decided to do the chef's 5 course tasting menu, which is entirely a surprise and was INCREDIBLE! We were there for about 2.5 hours total for dinner. I decided to do the wine pairing with it, but let them know no reds as they give me headaches, and I believe the entire menu ended up being slightly accommodated to meet that! Everything was made to order and beyond delicious. The photo of my husband he was eating the entree, which for our meal was duck on a corn puree with roasted seasonal veggies and potatos, and a plum au jus on top. Just wow. Not an everyday meal but SO WORTH the experience for a special day! We will surely be back for a future anniversary

Excellent service and great dishes!!
Beautiful building, impressive for its majesty and stateliness. It is one of the largest and most prestigious wineries in Canada and Icewine is iconic. We ate at their restaurant, a charcuterie and cheese board as an excuse to try their wines. The place is idyllic and the service very friendly. Good quality and high prices. Recommended if you are a lover of wines and sparkling wines.
Cam was my tour guide & he was amazing! He really educated my group & I and did a great job at answering all our questions. His customer service & personality 12/10!
Just another Winery,🍷 No Big Deal!!
Service was terrible. Waited forever to get waited on and then forever for samples. Wine was pretty good
