The Epicurean offers a beautiful patio, delicious food, and friendly service. Many guests enjoy the outdoor patio, which is shaded by a large tree and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, offering great guidance on gluten-free options and making special accommodations, such as straining out onions from French Onion soup. The restaurant recently updated its look, maintaining its welcoming vibe and chic style. The menu features popular dishes like the salmon dinner and crab cakes appetizer, which are highly praised, along with delicious sandwiches such as the peameal sandwich and roast beef sandwich. The fish & chips and creme brulée are also highly recommended, and the drinks are enjoyed by guests.
Guests appreciate the kindness of the staff, who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience, including accommodating seating requests and offering thoughtful suggestions. The food quality remains excellent, with dishes prepared perfectly and served promptly. The atmosphere is ideal for various occasions, from pre-theatre dinners to special celebrations like anniversaries. Many visitors find the place perfect for celebrating or enjoying a nice meal with friends and family.
The inside aesthetic is simple, but the outdoor patio offers a pleasant and shaded dining space. The menu provides options for vegetarians, including beet salad and rigatoni pasta with garlic bread, served family style with separate plates. Service is friendly and professional, with some guests mentioning staff members like Tammy and Philip for their helpful and humorous service. Late-night visitors enjoy dishes like mushrooms risotto, French onion soup, and lentil soup, paired with good wine. Overall, The Epicurean continues to be a favorite spot for delicious meals and memorable experiences.
