Went with my family - the Korean tofu bowl is listed as vegetarian but they confirmed it was vegan. You get a very good amount of tofu, but there isn’t a ton of veg. The staff were really lovely and the atmosphere was great.
Honestly, just not that good. Lacked Flavour, used frozen vegetables, fries were brutal. For the price you might as well go to the sand trap, which isn't much better. This restaurant should be a 3.8, weird that its rated higher.

Calamari portion is ridiculously small for 20$ and too salty. The head chef pallet is weird with very odd pairings in the half chicken. Rib eye was great

First time there and had the fish and chips. The fish was excellent. Sticky toffee pudding to round it off. Lots of local beers ciders and wines and very friendly.
Will be back!

Cute little place right off the main road. I had the Garrison House burger, which was pretty good along with a tasty Silversmith brown ale. While the burger was fantastic after a long travel day, I thought it was too small. For dessert, I had the apple crumble which was underwhelming. It wasn’t terrible, but just okay.

I highly recommend visiting Garrison House! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, a perfect place for brunch or dinner with friends and family. I ordered the blue cheese burger, and it did not disappoint! The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Garrison House is a must-try for an unforgettable dining experience! I always recommend it to my bed and breakfast guests.

Cute place with good food. The fish fry was really good and the mussels in green curry sauce was delicious. 1 star removed as the fries were not good, too hard (maybe they need an oil change) and the Pave the chocolate is too thick.

The Garrison has a very laid-back, local watering hole type feel to it. The staff are super friendly and the seating is cozy. Our group ordered a 1/2 dozen oysters (Raspberry Point) served with their homemade mignonette and hot sauce; the burger, Black Lager Cottage Pie, and the prime rib dinner. The food was delicious, with the cottage pie stealing the show. It's a great spot to go before/after a show at the Shaw Festival and we'll definitely go again.
Our group waited quite a long time for our entrees though - to the point where we saw other groups (who had arrived and ordered 15-20 mins after us) getting served their meals before us. The waitress was kind enough to give us updates and finally "they're plating your food" but even that took over 10 minutes. We postulated something must have gone awry with one of our plates. When my prime rib finally arrived, it had the colouring of the medium-rare cook that I had requested - but when I cut into it, it was very well done. I was too hungry to complain. Since it was our first time there, totally willing to give them a second chance as our situation seemed to be an anomaly.
