Given its location (out in the sticks and nowhere near an ocean), we were surprised to find a sushi restaurant at all, let alone one with such good reviews. The outside gave us pause but inside, it's clean and cozy with typical décor.. the washrooms and what we could see of the kitchen were *very* clean, which is the first thing we look for on any first-time visit. The menu is a bit pricey ($8 for miso soup?) but the maki, special maki, appetizer and bento portions were...

This place is a true 5-star. ⭐️ The owners are hospitality minded and very attentive. Whether it’s a dine-in or take-out, Misoya is always fresh, always on time, always generous and always happy to see us ? ?

Such a yummy hidden gem. Their vegetarian options are so delicious! I'm just visiting town and ordered takeout but I wish I had the time to sit down and enjoy more of their menu items. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area!
