This place is a real treat if you're looking for a five star lunch or dinner, as long as you're okay with planning well in advance.
It's situated inside the Canadore campus as part of their Culinary Arts program and everyone working there is a member of the program, from servers to chefs.
The only downside is that it is one of the worst kept secrets in North Bay and typically as soon as dates for each semester are made available, they're booked up within a couple of days.
If you are able to get a reservation or happen to know someone that works at the college, make sure you go here at least once. These are mostly kids looking to make a career in the food industry and you'll get to have an awesome meal at a reasonable price and feel good about supporting these kids in their education.
The people running the program do an excellent job training the chefs and servers and should be commended as well.
Parking: Parking for people going to the restaurant is reserved in a small area as part of the campuses paid parking area and is well marked.

It's like North Bays on Hell's Kitchen, for casual fine dining. They have TV's everywhere and they live stream the kitchen staff. From Apps to Entrees and desserts.The food and service were excellent.Our meal was $74 we paid $124 with our tip. The tips go towards student educational trips. Well done everyone ??

Lovely view surrounded by trees. Service was great, servers friendly. The food was perfectly portioned and just delicious. I had the fish taco and bean bowl, the fish was seasoned beautifully. I'd recommend this anytime!

What a lovely experience. Keep in mind, everyone is learning. We were there for the surf and turf meal. Unfortunately, our table of tenderloin came out overcooked for everyone, but it was still delicious (hard to ruin tenderloin!). Everything else was absolutely lovely. If you can believe it, the highlight was the mashed potato balls!! We mentioned to the teacher as she came around that the meat was overcooked (for informational purposes only), she was very appreciative of the feedback. Will definitely return. Can't wait to see what's up next.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a fine dining experience today. Servers were very attentive and courteous. The menu was delicious, from our tasty soup/salad courses, delicious steak main to our fantastic desserts. We have already booked future visits!

The meal was delicious & the variety of food presented in each course was interesting & colourful. Due to Covid this was a pickup meal that you ate at home. Despite this time delay the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Every course was tasty and presented in a most pleasing manner. Thank you for a wonderful night out!!!!

Fantastic dinner for six last night. The lamb was still tender and pink, even after we had to re-heat before serving. The shrimp cocktail with trio of sauces was also delish! Dessert was light and the meringues were crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Great job, Canadore students, and thank you for making my dinner party "a piece of cake!"

The good was excellent from the Amuse to the Friandise. The steak was cooked to perfection. I haven’t got one negative thing to say. Quantity was perfect. Cut side service was speedy and professional. I highly recommend.
