“My family went for dinner this evening to celebrate my birthday. My husband and I and my two small children (aged 3 and 5) were squeezed into a table at the full restaurant. Luckily our server, Nicole, was organized, sweet, attentive and fast. She even took my kids to the treasure chest to get toys and made them feel special...even though she was extremely busy! Very good experience. Thank you ♡”

“Our family of five ate here for supper and enjoyed our meal. The server, Jamie, was awesome. He was engaging and funny, even with the kids. He knelt down to talk with them when they were ordering. The kids chicken fingers were especially good. The burgers were quite big, although could be better with some sauce/ toppings. The fries were good, but the carrot sticks they are supposed to come with weren’t on the plates. The kids caesar salad was loaded with cheese and bacon. One of us adults had the fish and chips, which was tasty, but smaller than the kid’s meals and didn’t come with the advertised coleslaw. The fish and fries portion was much smaller than what we have experienced in the past, so perhaps it is not usually like that. The brisket cheesesteak style sandwich and garden salad were plentiful and delicious. The sandwich was so full and saucy, it was definitely a fork and knife meal, instead of a handheld - no complaints about that dish.
Our table was several two seaters pushed together by the front windows - they were very wobbly. It was not the most comfortable spot we’ve sat at in this restaurant. It wasn’t busy when we arrived, so it would have been nice to have been given a better table. All in all, it was an enjoyable family meal out with excellent service.”

“My husband and I stopped by Guac Mexi Grill in North Bay last night on our way home from a holiday up north. It was our first time there and we were blown away by the fresh, delicious meal and friendly service. I had the shrimp quesadilla and my hubby had the Barbacoa, and just loved it. The chips and homemade salsa was so fresh and yummy. Thank you for a great meal and congratulations to the owners of this restaurant in The Bay for such great success!”

“If you like sushi and/or freshly made food, you have to give it a try. I had the Poke Bar bowl and it was fantastic. I assume it was the owner: he let me try the marinated salmon before I selected. He also brought me out a sample of the broth for their signature Ramen. Delish! Options for all tastes.”

“This is place never disappoints me with their food. North Bay's best Indian food place. Harsh always makes sure that he takes feedback about the food and to be very honest its always delicious. My go to place for all my Indian snacks cravings.”

Steak was indeed a very well selected beef, and cooked perfectly to order. Tase was there and it chewed well. Only constructive criticism I will give is... The cut was to thin, not even sure it was a full inch. I would have liked to see a thicker cut. Also as much as the Chef go the medium rare perfect, I think it was cooked at too high of a temp, fat was a bit bitter. Oysters were perfect, not sure the source but tasted Like fresh strawberry point. Mmmm. In house cream brûlée was on point. Over all, very good meal, however for the price of the steak I was expecting a bit more. Hats of for the oysters, one would not expect that from ordering oysters in north Ontario. I had a whisky sour, and it was made with top shelf bourbon, and he used egg whites too! It was one of the best whiskey sours I've had in a while.”

The food was delicious, the space was awesome. Whoever we initially dealt with from out-of-town was awesome, and based on that person, I would have rated Service as 5.

The service was very good, a few minor improvements, our curated menu had a typo (which we smiled at "Appitizer". We had discussed have a vegetarian option for the soup and it was "chicken with chickpeas", again we were very flexible, as the salads were great.

If you want a classy place to book in North Bay, I would definitely recommend this location.”

“Absolutely delicious food! I have been on the hunt for good fish and chips since moving to North Bay and theirs have surpassed all the others I have had. It was moist with a nice crispy but light batter and the pieces were quite big. I will order then one piece next time so I have more room for their yummy fries although next time it might be the Newf burger since that is what my husband had and enjoyed. I highly recommend eating and supporting this great local business!”

“I went there with my friend and we have lots of options for Punjab style food. We enjoyed naan with paneer and choole bhtoore. The taste was very rich that make remember of street food I usually ate in Punjab (is demand of almost all Punjabis). The tea recipe is great here. Staff was friendly and it is very convenient to have order on tables within minutes.”

“When my boyfriend had went to get a 32 piece nugget meal, something was off with his order so he went in, they gave him another free 32 piece meal, a free drink for him and since I was with him a free milkshake for me. They were so incredibly nice and went above and beyond for us. Genuinely a good dining place with good people!”
