I was reading some other reviews and I must say the lady that commented on the food was totally wrong about the food and the price of her chocolate milk. The food has lots of flavor and the service is impeccable. Sonal and her staff are always friendly and polite I will always go to there restaurant as when I want something different sonal is willing to do it. If something is wrong with your food just bring to their attention and they will fix it the best breakfast in North Bay.Thank you Sonal and your staff I always look forward to having a meal there.”
“My husband and I stopped by Guac Mexi Grill in North Bay last night on our way home from a holiday up north. It was our first time there and we were blown away by the fresh, delicious meal and friendly service. I had the shrimp quesadilla and my hubby had the Barbacoa, and just loved it. The chips and homemade salsa was so fresh and yummy. Thank you for a great meal and congratulations to the owners of this restaurant in The Bay for such great success!”

“Probably the best Indian place in town, spice levels are good (meaning that if you are a northern-European descendant or can’t handle your spice, you should probably get mild or medium). Portion sizes are good and very flavourful, prices seem good for what you get. Butter Chicken Roti and Lamb Curry Roti are the dishes that we tried.”

“Was only in north bay for the night and decided to go with something familiar. Got to say, this was the best east sides I've gone to. A lot better than the ones in durham region. It was a packed night but the wait wasn't too long to be seated and the food all came in a timely order and was delicious. The waitress we had was very attentive despite how busy it was. Apparently 7 different tables were celebrating birthdays in the hour or so that we were there so all the waitresses were especially busy but still did an amazing job.A great experience.Vegetarian options: There is many vegetarian options. You can do the build your own pasta to make a vegetarian/vegan pasta, but they do not have any real vegan options.Dietary restrictions: They always make the cesar salad without bacon for me”

“I live in Callander and hit this location more than once a day. Fast, Friendly and probably the most efficient fast food service I've ever received. At this point they know my voice so when I don't get what I normally order they say "no bagel today", It makes me giggle. This gives me a sense of community not just a number. Always pleasant. Very team oriented. Way to go #teamtimhortons They have staff I would be very proud of. ( Please share this review with them ) some employees just go unnoticed. “There are some downsides, when its busy the service slows down exponentially, and after your second round of orders expect additional waiting times. Despite the wait times, if you time your orders, or make one large order, things come staggered and are nice and hot. The rolls are delicious, and always lovely and fresh. The sashimi is delicious, though selection is limited. I have NEVER been sick from this sushi restaurant. The experience does vary quite a bit from time of day, day of the week, and just each time you go. Usually its good, sometimes not so much. Also, they are a little stingy with the sauces and portions, during all you can eat. This can be very offputting but has the added bonus that you can try more foods. Plus you can always just order more! P.S. If you order 10 different ice cream portions, expect the servers to put them into groups of type of ice cream. They dont know whos ice cream is whos. Too many idiots giving the servers heck for that.”

When I got to where I was going of course no knife! Hard to eat a baked potato with no knife to cut it and a wooden fork! I always check my bag as they usually forget something but I was in a hurry and didn’t.”

“Staying in North Bay for an event and looking for a good breakfast place. Terry’s pops up as a best place to go. Server was pleasant and efficient. Food was very good as well as portion size. The best part was they had homemade panfried potatoes. Not the deep fried stuff. They open at 7 which was great and the place was clean. Give them a try.”

It was moist with a nice crispy but light batter and the pieces were quite big. I will order then one piece next time so I have more room for their yummy fries although next time it might be the Newf burger since that is what my husband had and enjoyed. I highly recommend eating and supporting this great local business!”

“I saw an ad on the Distance Socially Eat Locally FB Page for fish and chips (Friday's l) so I decided to give it a try.The fish was as good as any fish in the city but what was exceptional was the service. I believe our servers name was Christina (Kristina?).She was lights out attentive and had a streak of humour that made us chuckle.I feel like there's a dozen places in town that does fish this good but if you get Christina as a server she may make you wanna go back.Very charming service, decent food.”

Brian, the staff member, is consistently welcoming and goes above and beyond to accommodate us. All the safety issues I noticed two years ago have been resolved. Excellent work! ?---ORIGANL (2022):I have a few safety concerns, First of all while they prepared our food and others they were not wearing hairnets, face masks, or gloves. We ate inside the restaurant and we were not asked for our vaccine receipt or vaccine passport. And finally after customers dinned in they did not wipe or sanitize the tables. “Pretty good! Only Chinese place open on Mother’s Day so we ordered from here :) Got a dinner for 3 plus extra order of chicken balls and changed the chop suey for general Tao. It was $91 with $10 delivery (in north bay) and %10 tip.The food is by far the best I’ve had out of the other Chinese places.The chicken balls have an average of I’d say 8-10 chicken balls. The chicken fried rice is in a smaller styrofoam container, everything else is in the typical plastic containers. I will say this is our new go to place even though the portions are a bit smaller just because it taste so good.Also the delivery lady was super sweet and said happy Mother’s Day!”

“We visited this restaurant for lunch, nice lake view patio which will be open this summer &it was amazing after that we tried the tasty indian appetizer gobhi garlic it was so yummy then butter chicken with naan bread oh my gosh. taste of the food was top notch, server was very polite with us did a great job.Highly recommended marigold restaurant , definitely come back for sure.”

Portion sizes are good and very flavourful, prices seem good for what you get. Butter Chicken Roti and Lamb Curry Roti are the dishes that we tried.”

I was reading some other reviews and I must say the lady that commented on the food was totally wrong about the food and the price of her chocolate milk. The food has lots of flavor and the service is impeccable. Sonal and her staff are always friendly and polite I will always go to there restaurant as when I want something different sonal is willing to do it. If something is wrong with your food just bring to their attention and they will fix it the best breakfast in North Bay.Thank you Sonal and your staff I always look forward to having a meal there.”
