“I saw an ad on the Distance Socially Eat Locally FB Page for fish and chips (Friday's l) so I decided to give it a try.The fish was as good as any fish in the city but what was exceptional was the service. I believe our servers name was Christina (Kristina?).She was lights out attentive and had a streak of humour that made us chuckle.I feel like there's a dozen places in town that does fish this good but if you get Christina as a server she may make you wanna go back.Very charming service, decent food.“
“My husband and I love this little neighborhood hang out. Pool table, shuffleboard, slot machines, and off track horse betting. The drinks are affordable and everyone in here is friendly.We went for Karaokee last night and it was a blast on a rainy night. Not sure why these princesses are leaving bad reviews. This bar is kept clean, and there was Zero bad vibes any time we come visit. It's not a gentrified city bar for metropolitan types so forget it if that's what you are after.“
“Sticky, well worn heavy wooden tables, dark interior, somewhat shabby esthetic...so a picture perfect pub style bar and eatery! Food was amazing, server comfortable like your best friends hot sister, Actual family board games atop a mantle. My 9 yo was in love with the place and devoured her well battered fish with two thumbs up, as we took on what seemed to be in house pressed burgers that were well worth the drive.“
