I visited The Boat during my North Bay trip from Toronto, and it was such a great stop! The waterfront views were beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the BBQ was absolutely delicious. I also loved the live music and overall pub vibe—it’s the kind of place where you can easily spend a few hours enjoying good food and the view.

Nice evening on the deck. Evangaline was amazing. The sticky Toffee pudding was the 6th best I've ever had. It needs a moat of custard around it to bump it up to number 2.
This is the first time we've been there and it was fantastic. Our meals were perfect, our waitress was witty, and had a great sense of humor! When we finally left, we were happy that we went out and wondered how we didn't go there before. Again, it was incredible and I would recommend this place to everyone! Great job keep it up 😎

The Boat is a great spot to visit, especially if someone is in the area. The lakeside patio next to the marina is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and attentive, making guests feel very welcome. Dogs are even allowed on the patio, which adds to the charm. The food is delicious, with highlights like criss cross nachos, Pickerel fish tacos, calamari, and chicken burger, all praised for their great taste. However, some guests noted that the portions for take-out may be smaller than expected. The atmosphere is enjoyable, featuring a stunning view and entertaining chipmunks. While a few guests mentioned that the restaurant could use some exterior maintenance and that service can be inconsistent, overall, it remains a lovely place to enjoy a meal and relax.
