On Thursday, December 14, our World Issues class was given the opportunity to explore Italian culture at Arugula which is a local restaurant found in downtown North Bay. I was immediately impressed with the massive, unique pizza oven that hit my eyes the second I walked in! My world issues class took a trip to arugula to see how food can represent culture. All the employees were very friendly and welcoming of us. They served us two types of pizzas and told us about how and why they represent the Italian culture. All the food tasted fresh and amazing, would absolutely recommend taking a stop at arugula!
