Pizzas ordered for taken out after we dined in at another establishment near by. The place was PACKED. Of course, it was a Friday night. However, with good reason. The aroma of fresh wood fired pizza, the clammering of an overbooked dining section, and the optimistic cheeriness of employees before really getting a taste of a busy evening was all we needed.Wood fired stone oven Neapolitan style crusts with a Canadian flare sent us into a munchie madness when we got back to the hotel. The chicken cacciatore was also a pesto fuelled delight.I'd love to dine in but sadly I feel the seating isn't meant for someone of my stature and that they have crammed as many possible seating options as humanly possible that it makes even getting across the dining room an apologetic chore, however this will not deter me from visiting again to try something different on the menu with hopes of another stellar experience.

I went to Arugula for lunch with a friend and orderd the Italian sausage pizza which was absolutely incredible. The thin crust, wood fire style pizza is just worlds better than any other pizza you can get in town, but what really sets this place apart is the service. Our waitress, Bre, provided us with hands down the best customer service experience I have ever had! She was fast, helpful, very friendly and personable. Her knowledge of the menu and ability to promptly awnser questions and make recommendations ensured that we ended up with a great meal.In summary, Bre's exceptional service at Arugula undoubtedly enhanced our dining experience. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for her customers exemplify the epitome of hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend Arugula to anyone seeking not only exquisite cuisine but also unparalleled service.

On Thursday, December 14, our World Issues class was given the opportunity to explore Italian culture at Arugula which is a local restaurant found in downtown North Bay. I was immediately impressed with the massive, unique pizza oven that hit my eyes the second I walked in! The employees taught us about how they receive their buffalo mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes from Italy to make each slice of pizza authentic. They served us what seemed like an endless supply of both the Margherita pizza topped with delicious oil and fresh basil and we can’t forget about the unforgettable pepperoni pizza. I really enjoyed my time at Arugula because we learned about such fine details including how they receive fresh wood for the oven or how they represent Italian culture with such fresh Italian foods.

My world issues class took a trip to arugula to see how food can represent culture. All the employees were very friendly and welcoming of us. They served us two types of pizzas and told us about how and why they represent the Italian culture. All the food tasted fresh and amazing, would absolutely recommend taking a stop at arugula!

Last week our class visited Arugula to experience their authentic Italian Pizza. They hosted around 20 of us free of charge, but instead asked that we donate something to the food bank. After a detailed explanation about their pizza oven that can cook a pizza in under 2 minutes, they made around ten pepperoni and margherita pizzas for our class to share (which were absolutely delicious). The experience made for an all-around great trip with their excellent food and even better hospitality, and I will definitely be back.
