“There are some downsides, when its busy the service slows down exponentially, and after your second round of orders expect additional waiting times. Despite the wait times, if you time your orders, or make one large order, things come staggered and are nice and hot. The rolls are delicious, and always lovely and fresh. The sashimi is delicious, though selection is limited. I have NEVER been sick from this sushi restaurant. The experience does vary quite a bit from time of day, day of the week, and just each time you go. Usually its good, sometimes not so much. Also, they are a little stingy with the sauces and portions, during all you can eat. This can be very offputting but has the added bonus that you can try more foods. Plus you can always just order more! P.S. If you order 10 different ice cream portions, expect the servers to put them into groups of type of ice cream. They dont know whos ice cream is whos. Too many idiots giving the servers heck for that.“
“Everyone was welcoming & friendly. Pleasantly surprised by the prices. Very tasty ribs & chicken. Wow baked potato & corn muffin. Very clean washrooms - excellent! Sandy (Mgr) patiently listened to and answered our questions. Not being from North By it was refreshing to find someone friendly and helpful. Jess opened the door in greeting and was a great server. There must be great management here that sets the example and brings out the best in staff. Definitely coming back!!“
“Absolutely delicious food! I have been on the hunt for good fish and chips since moving to North Bay and theirs have surpassed all the others I have had. It was moist with a nice crispy but light batter and the pieces were quite big. I will order then one piece next time so I have more room for their yummy fries although next time it might be the Newf burger since that is what my husband had and enjoyed. I highly recommend eating and supporting this great local business!“
