This place was recommended through friends and admittedly I hadn’t been and wasn’t familiar with their menu or what they had to offer.
What an amazing surprise it was!
The chef is brilliant. The creative menu is a great indication of that. Maybe outside of some people’s comfort zone, but that’s what great food should be sometimes.
The star was the peach and corn ice cream sandwich - what an amazing combination.
If you’re looking for a chain restaurant, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for good hospitality and great food, this is a restaurant I wish I had been to sooner

Fantastic cocktails and vibes. Every drank we had was fresh/ fun / original and tasted fantastic. It was far too easy to get through nearly the entire cocktail menu and lose track of time. If you are like me and you want great real (and I can't stress REAL enough) food and drink, this is the place to be. Check this place out!

Second time coming in this week! Once for lunch, once for dinner. Kimchi turkey sandwich was amazing! Had to come back for cocktail night. Matt is a genius mixologist and never misses with the complex , yet easy drinking flavours in his cocktails. the chicken Fried rabbit by chef Brady was the best rabbit it ever had. Hands down. Must try! Amazing atmosphere. Great staff. And great menu.

Like the interior! Retro, clean line. The white beans salad is amazingly refreshing, the mento cristo sandwich crispy outside, melted cheese and shedded hams within, is just perfect!

got the chicken ceasar sandwhich and the Monte cristo sandwhich today. so so yummy and the staff were so kind🥰 my boyfriend added maple syrup to the cristo sandwhich for added sweetness and it was so good!!! 10/10

Instant classic that is still under the radar for most people. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and it is all incredible. This is a must try experience and I highly encourage you to be adventurous and order things you wouldn’t normally expect to like. Everything is very approachable but my favourites are all things I would have never expected. Genius at work in every instance.

we just stopped by on our way through town. and we’re glad we did. adorable vinty style with a refurbished bar and retro posters is only the beginning. THE FOOD. balanced, toasty bread, satisfying bites. do recommend. we shared the kimchi turkey melt (their best seller) and the roasted carrot halloumi. they were both so so good. the folks working were kind. stop here! (single stall, gender neutral washroom)

Had a fabulous lunch here yesterday with my wife. She had the pork stew, a lovely bit of spice with a hearty composition. I feasted on the Monte Cristo sandwich which was simply exquisite. We will make this a regular lunch spot for sure in the future.
