Ivan's what can you say, a North Bay must visit. Over the years the quality has remained the same, super. Nothing fancy just your regular dinner menu but it is fairly priced and never disappoints.

The food is just pain good. Very friendly and attentive staff. I've been a number of times- had the breakfast, had a peameal sandwich, had the burger- always great. Fries are cooked perfectly as well.

Ordered poutine, burger etc. 40.00delivery. Food was cold. Poutine was not covered. Called to mention it and suggest covering the poutine. Guy blamed Skip, but it was delivered promptly in a thermal bag. I was being polite, he lmk he couldn't care less.

Good place for a lunch, can be fast food as long as you dont go at lunch time, or you will have the skip the dishes boys walk by you like they are on a tread mill. we ordered and paid in line one day, and then stood there for over 45 minutes while all the skip the dishes boys walked past us to have their hot box quickly filled and on the way they went. Other than that, great place.
I've had some good meals at Ivan's, but today I had the family size poutine. There was something pretty bad tasting at the bottom of the plate. I've deep fried a lot, and it was not sludge or scum or residue from fish, because the taste was not oily. Put off and won't go back. It's better to hire older staff just for this reason imo.
