Jocko Point Fish & Chips

was there last week pogos and hamburgers were awesome brought my family there yesterday and hamburger was undercooked, fries were hard and pogos I won't even go there, lost some customers and we were regulars..

Stopped at Jocko point and ordered 2 pieces of fish and onion rings. I was so disappointed when i was served 2 very small pieces of fish ( the size of 2 highliner fish sticks) for $12 + $6.50 for order of overcooked skinny onion rings and delicious coleslaw. Although the fish was very tasty, it was just a tease and I left there hungry. Very disappointed customer. 🙁

Best fish n chips in the province. Fresh pickerel. Best fries too !! Highly recommend you go at least once but you will get hooked!!

Absolutely delicious food and especially the walleye/pickeral. It was the best I have had. You get to pick curds or shredded cheese on your poutine as well. We will definitely return! My husband thinks the only thing that could make it better would be homemade tartar sauce.

This is our “go to place”, for fish & chips. At least once a week as long as they are open from early spring to late fall. Staff are friendly and the facilities are clean.

The perch was a bit on the salty side but was cooked well and had a nice crisp to it. The coleslaw was ok.

For 20 bucks they give tiny 4 pieces of fish that can only feed 1 adult. Prices and portions are dissapointing

Updated 2024.09.19 This place is good for filling up your gas tank and your stomach. It is window service, you line up, order, pay, wait for your number to be called in around ten minutes, pickup order and eat on their outside tables or inside. Their fish and coleslaw are very good, their poutine and fries are filling but only fair, not all that good. Canned drinks are available. Credit cards accepted.

Wow! This place has great fish & chips. Pickerel..nice. Also the facility ( serving area, indoor and outdoor seating, and the restrooms) is immaculately clean. Way better than your average highway pull-off. Oh.. and great gas prices.

The best best fish and chips around the North Bay, Ontario area. If you like fresh caught pickerel fish and chips or Poutine( your choice) any traveller's in the area. I would recommend this place anytime. The picture shown is the small 2pc dinner, with poutine and your choice of drink.

Last year this place was fantastic. .. This year, not so much!! Went to get dinner there tonight.. I was order #306 and we had to wait 30 mins, and the girl taking order was not at all polite. She was pretty rude and we won't be back!!! I get that you get busy, but that doesn't give your staff the right to be unpleasant!!!
