I find the buffet foods super dry. But when you order take out its much better. Still great to have a buffet in town.

After a lengthy closure for renovation/repair I wasn’t sure if the quality was going to be the same. I’m happy to share that it is as good, or better than before. We’d been going elsewhere while Loi’s was closed but decided to revisit. I had the super combo which was Egg Roll, Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, Breaded Shrimp, and Chicken Chop Suey. It’s enough food that for myself it can do two or 3 meals. My husband opted for Cantonese Chow Mein. It was all delicious. In the past we’ve tried other dishes including BBQ Pork, Beef and Green Peppers, Beef with Broccoli, Vegetable Egg Foo Young, Beef with Mixed Vegetable, Almond Chicken Soo Guy, Moo Goo Guy Pan, Shanghai Noodle, and Singapore Noodle. It’s never been a disappointment. They also now have their buffet back which we’ve never tried but we’ve heard it’s great. The pics are from previous visits.

Hmmm… first of all the takeout price is fairly steep for what you get. Basically like, one combo for $30 once tip and soup is included. And then the soup… we ordered “hot and sour soup”. It honestly tastes like they combined the sweet chicken ball sauce with sriracha. Not entirely sure what was going on there. I dunno, I hate leaving less than positive reviews but maybe this place is better known for their buffet, not sure 🤔 Seriously, I’ve never had soup that looks or tastes like that. It felt more like a sauce, maybe they did something wrong. If you want really awesome and affordable Chinese food in this style, check out Panda Garden in Owen Sound, best we’ve had since returning back to Canada from living in Asia. The staff were friendly and nice, though :)

I love Chinese food and the food was good but I am not a huge eater and I think $34 is too pricey for a dinner buffet of this size, but I am not from this area where I come from the average price is around $22-$25/person

I've been to Loi's family restraunt a few times for their buffet. Each time I've been there, there was an item that I always liked. The most recent time that myself and a friend went it was not available. When the young lady approached me at my table, I asked her about that particular item, she told me she would talk to the chef, and unexpectedly brought a very large portion freshly cooked to my table for myself and my friend. Service like this for the few times I've been there and the food itself is why they deserve this comment.

I would say it’s good enough. A little pricey but I will eat here again

If I could give this place a -10 I would spent $120.00 on the buffet for 3 people and my dog eats better then the food they have there absolutely awful. Highly priced garbage. Service was terrible. If you remember Lois being a great all you can eat buffet with great food trust me it’s not that anymore stay clear of this establishment it’s just awful. I don’t recommend you going there spent your money elsewhere you’ll thank me for this opinion.
