Brought my husband for the first time cause in the past I have enjoyed this restaurant and we just had one open in Timmins, so passing through we decided to stop and give my husband an amazing experience but unfortunately it was not a good experience at all. First thing was my husband ordered a Caesar drink and it was horrible, so he ended up having a beer instead, then we both had the surf and turf with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side , good thing we got to cook our own surf and turf cause the potatoes were cold , the vegetables were over cooked and also under cooked how they managed that I have no idea and the only good about the gravy is it was hot so I good dunk my cold potatoes in it so I could eat them. Will I go there again no , but I should add that our waiter was amazing though

I had an amazing dining experience at Lot 88 Steakhouse on McKeown Ave! The seafood platter was a delight, with perfectly seasoned salmon, juicy shrimp, and tender scallops. The mashed potatoes were creamy, and the grilled vegetables added a fresh, vibrant touch to the meal. The presentation was also beautiful, as you can see from the attached photo. A big thank you to Ama, our server, who made the experience even better! She was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. Her excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend Lot 88 for anyone in North Bay looking for delicious food and top-notch service. I'll definitely be back!

I had such a bad experience here that I felt it necessary to write a review. And I rarely ever write a review on here .
First of all me and my family showed up at 4pm, when it was pretty well empty, only 3 tables of others who seemed to of all been served .
We ordered our food at 4pm and it did not come until 5pm which was confusing as we seemed to be the only ones waiting.
I ordered a medium rare ribeye, just to receive what was a well done rib eye after an hour of waiting. Also, my poutine on the side was cold cold... After mentioning this to our waitress, she got the manager. The manager told me that they could make me a new steak, but that either way it wouldn't be charged on the bill.
I got the new steak, which was literally lile 60% fat and tasted worse than any steak I've cooked myself at home. At 57 dollars for a steak, I'd expect a good cut cooked proper, but nope. We also got charged for bbq sauce which is crazy after paying that much for a steak...
What really upset me though, was when the bill came, I was still charged FULL PRICE. After literally an hour wait the first time, then another 25 minute wait the second time, and after the manager said I wouldn't be charged, I still paid full price.
Me and my partner were so turned off by the lack of flavor in the food and all of this mentioned above that we definitely will never be returning to this place.
It was our first experience at lot 88, and I really don't understand how they even have the Google rating they gave because I've heard bad things from this place before, and it was a terrible experience.
Definitely a huge regret spending almost 200$ here on our meal , I later went to wendys as I was still hungry and the spicy chicken burger there tasted way better than the steak from lot 88, how sad is that.

It's a great place for some great steak. I put 4 stars for food because.. I cooked my steak(not a chef). Tried their famous lava stone cooked steak, and the steak was a thick cut. Bit of a learning curve to cook on a hot rock but definitely a fun way to enjoy your meal. Lots of choice of drinks and mocktails. Service was quick and friendly. Dessert, I had Tiramisu cake and it was great!

Went here recently and loved it! Beautiful design on the outside, and the interior was so beautifully decorated. We were greeted immediately and seated in moments. The place was very busy but it was not chaotic or too loud at all. We also were served quickly given how busy it was, which is lovely. We got the Calamari (divine!) and then The salmon pilaf, and a buddha bowl. Both of us practically licked the plate clean it was so good. The portions were great, and it was a very reasonable price considering the wonderful experience. Fine dining indeed. Loved it.

The meat quality is far beyond what I've had locally otherwise. Service with a smile and good humor. The atmosphere feels more like a bar, when the experience is more like fine dining.
