We enjoyed a fabulous date night here. Service was initially a little slow but there was a sign warning of that. The service was polite and friendly and I appreciated how the menu had brief explanations for the dishes in English. Once we received the pakora we were swept off our feet by the flavour. We enjoyed a mango-yogurt drink that was exquisite and smooth. I ordered the tiki basket and it was excellent, a bit spicy for Canadian palletes, but perfect because I like spicy food. My date's dish was even more flavourful than mine with two types of vegetarian curries, raita, rice, Naan and a dessert. Every bite was perfect and we left quite full and were able to pack up leftovers. I would highly recommend Marigold's for the flavour, view, and value. We were told that the coconut Naan is the best but since we had Naan with our combos we will ha e to have that next time.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian combo was to-die for, strongly recommend their curries and Naan.Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly, but I wouldn't say the restaurant is family focused.

The ambiance of this restaurant is a ray of sunshine breaking the gloomy days of early spring. The food is flavourful and is well priced. Service is great, they do tend to run out of some things but the menu is extensive and has a LOT of great options to widen your horizons. I cannot wait to go back in the summer to enjoy the patio!

I am from Brampton. I plan spend my this long weekend in north bay but i miss Indian food here. So i decide to order my food from this restaurant. I don’t know what’s wrong with this restaurant. I ordered the food twice every time dessert (gajar halwa) is not fresh. It tastes like a curd ?I am very disappointed?

Terrible and rude serviceDidn't take very long to get the foodEnded up getting pad Thai. If you want pad thai and Manshous is open, go there instead. It's infinitely better, cheaper, and larger portion- and includes 3 different meats, with generous amounts. This place you can only choose chicken or shrimp and there was barely any in itAnything that this place has, Manshous will be betterSave yourself a tripParking: Not much parking, luckily it was not busy at all

Spectacular, spectacular! Top drawer Indian food in North Bay literally on the shore of Lake Nipissing. You go for the food - it is the food that matters. This is the way.
