Spent more than $70 for lunch & treats that were run-of-the-mill
Mincemeat tarts (bought box of 6) were not good. The pastry had gone soft - had texture/taste of thin pita! Filling was assorted chopped, preserved peel/fruit, with seemingly no binder, i.e. was not 'saucy'. Extremely odd, and in my opinion, inedible.
Had two sandwich wraps - they were quite ordinary, but fresh-tasting.
Also got two peanut butter, marshmallow, butterscotch squares, which were also just fine.
Got potato salad, nearly 2 cups or so, for $9 (before tax). It was fine.
Considering the rating this place has, the seriousness with which things were run, the prices (!!), I was expecting greatness, but ultimately I felt let down. Will not be returning.

What a lovely find, a splendid alternative to franchises. I had the wrap of the day which was a spicy tuna. Perfect. could not fault it or the Great Pumpkin white hot chocolate. Great atmos, bright and cheerful. Top marks.

If you are looking for the perfect place for lunch, coffee, or a snack in North Bay, you have to go to this place. Their sandwiches are made with fresh homemade bread and are delicious. They also have homemade squares that can’t be beat. Check it out!
So good! Our first time there, and we were not at all disappointed. Wraps were stellar, and so was my egg salad sandwich. (Amazing bread!)
The quinoa salad though...we tried so hard to finesse the recipe, but I guess we'll just need to go back. It was the second star.
First star was the staff. Great food, great spot, great folks. We'll be back.

This was my first time here. I wasn't disappointed even though they were out of chocolate cake when I was there, but I got chocolate brownie banana cake instead.. I think it was called that. I know it was good and hit the spot. It sure was better than my usual coffee and dessert place . I'm glad I tried them out.

My whole family loves this place to enjoy a lunch get-together. Their soups are deliciously unique. The egg salad sandwich I ordered was not only tasty but had a generous amount of egg filling served on fresh homemade bread. But, their speciality are their desserts, especially their cakes. We have ordered a cake on a few special occasions and not only do they go out of their way to make them beautiful, but they are a pleasure to eat as well. Just yesterday we served cake to our guests attending my daughter’s bridal shower “May the 4Th Be With You” party. It was perfect. For her wedding celebration we have ordered cupcakes and a cake which I’m sure will not only be beautiful but very yummy as well. Friendly service who always go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied. They also have vegan choices; another bonus!

Absolutely love this café! Everything from the amazing brewed coffee and beverages and delicious food (the butter tarts are the best I have EVER had) to the thoughtful decor is well curated. Staff are wonderful. It's a great place to check out. Do not miss the opportunity to check it out, I promise you will not regret it!
