Food was alright nothing too crazy! Had the duck tacos, tortellini, and chicken alfredo all were very filling ended up bringing it home! Crème brule was a huge portion so definitely enjoyed that! Amazing staff and service clean and very cozy spot!

The hubby and I come here every year on our anniversary. Our first date was here. We prefer upstairs dining because of the more relaxed and quieter vibe. Food is pricey but SO worth it. More fancy options with a few staples like pastas and burgers that you canot go wrong with. Everything is so delicious. Always a great experience with excellent service.

I had a great experience here! The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. I ordered the seasoned steak with roasted potatoes and mixed veggies—everything was full of flavor and perfectly done. The steak had an amazing crust, the veggies were fresh and well-seasoned, and the potatoes were crispy with a nice topping.

My guest had the striploin with a baked potato, and it looked just as good. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and nicely presented.

Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Overall, a solid dining experience—definitely recommend if you’re craving a good steak dinner.

We had the chicken fettuccine and beef stroganoff. Fantastic. The amount of meat in the dishes was generous. They tasted delicious. A healthy and satisfying meal.

Ordered stuff mushroom with scallops was tasteless and they left the huge stem in the mushroom, the pepper medley was tasteless and on the bottom of the bowl was a huge amount of oil, never finished it, had the pasta with lobster and shrimp, it was ruined by the same peppers mixture, shrimp was like chewing an eraser they were so over cooked and the pasta was under cooked, the whole thing was also tasteless, again we never ate it. For the price we paid for our meals it wasn’t even worth it, myself and my friend were both very disappointed, guess maybe it’s just burgers and steak they are good at cooking, I don’t know 🤷 maybe we came in on a bad day

The Station Tap House & Steak, Flavor with a few functional flaws.

During my recent visit to The Station Tap House & Steak, I ordered the steak sandwich with a garden salad, expecting a hearty classic and overall, the experience was quite good.

Presentation & Flavor
Both dishes arrived well presented. The steak was tender, flavorful, and appeared to be lightly seasoned before being finished with a touch of wine deglaze, which added a rich yet balanced note. The plating was appealing, and the freshness of the salad stood out immediately.

Texture & Practicality
While the flavors were excellent, the steak sandwich itself quickly became difficult to eat by hand. The bread had softened under the heat and juices, causing it to fall apart. To be fair, the sandwich did come with a knife, suggesting it may have been intended as a hot, plated sandwich rather than a handheld one. If that’s the case, perhaps adding “Hot Sandwich” to the menu description could help clarify expectations for diners... unless, of course, I simply missed it haha.

The garden salad was fresh and visually appealing, but served in a bowl that was too deep and narrow. The thick balsamic-based dressing stayed near the top, leaving the lower greens nearly untouched. A wider dish or thinner dressing would go a long way in improving balance.

Service & Atmosphere
The service was excellent, attentive without hovering, and the atmosphere struck a comfortable balance between casual and refined.

Final Thoughts
The Station Tap House & Steak shows clear strength in flavor and presentation. A few small refinements, clarity in menu labeling, sturdier bread, and improved dishware choices would elevate the overall experience from good to exceptional.

Verdict: A flavorful and well presented meal with attentive service, only held back by a few fixable practical details. Thank you for the meal!

Tried Station Tap house for dinner. Our table had the salmon crusted with cashew, chicken breast provolone and a vegan dish. Food was great and will visit again. Didn’t have an advance reservation but the staff were kind enough to accommodate us.
