We have the owner as a waiter and he was fantastic. Engaging funny and knowledgeable. He's also the bartender and made us great drinks. I had some of the best fish and chips I've had literally ever I think. If I lived in North Bay I would definitely be back.
Our U13 team was in North Bay for a softball tournament and needed a venue for a team dinner. Luckily for us, a group had canceled and The Block were able to accommodate us. We were also lucky to be able to see the live music. Great energy.

We just left the Block public house, and we were blown away with how they handled the situation we imposed on them. We are a U13 girls softball team from out of town here for a tournament and they were the only restaurants that would accommodate all forty something of us. Our drink orders were taken quickly, our food arrived hot fresh and way faster than we ever could have asked for, they were so great with splitting up the bills accurately based on our daughter's jersey...
