The Boat is a great spot to visit, especially if you're in the area. The lakeside patio next to the marina is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and attentive, even allowing dogs on the patio. The food is great, including the criss cross nachos and Pickerel fish tacos, which were awesome and made with top-notch grease for excellent flavor. While take-out portions may be smaller than expected, the atmosphere is enjoyable, featuring a lovely view and even entertaining chipmunks. Some guests noted that the restaurant could use some exterior maintenance and mentioned that service can be inconsistent, but overall, it's a lovely spot to enjoy a meal.
