As someone from Sudbury, I've unfortunately never heard of this place but I'm glad I finally found it! Having a beer on an old boat ignited that Edmund Fitzgerald passion in me. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Unpleasant experience. We were told boat seating was “reserved,” yet many tables stayed empty. Ended up roadside at an uncomfortable bench. No vegan options—only fried potatoes. Not recommended, especially for vegans.

Great food with a stunning view! The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. What makes it even more special is the amazing view. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food in a beautiful setting!

This place wins for the views. The food tastes good. We got burgers for our main and calamari to start. The calamari was the same price as the burger but was the size of our side that came with the burgers. I get that it’s seafood, but it was still surprising. We ordered cheese on our burgers for an extra cost but they forgot it. They did make sure not to charge us for it when we mentioned it so all good there. The servers were great. We’d come back but skip starters based on the portion-price disparity.
The food was horrible, their deep-fried food was horrible, how often are the fryers cleaned here. My daughter chicken wrap was the only decent thing ordered. Fish the fork could squeeze the grease out, the hamburger tasted horrible my son said and the chicken fingers I soaked the grease off with a napkin and still couldn't eat them and the hotel suggested this place, I couldn't believe it. The boat on land idea is neat but food lacking.

Was looking for a good fish and chips place in town ….reviews are misleading - The Boat boasts that their pickerel dinner is famous pickerel and it’s served with a boatload of fries!
It’s in Northbay so it should be famous pickerel but it wasn’t good at all! My fillet was super wet and slimy! Had to spit out the first bite! And maybe got two handfuls of fries
The tartar sauce was more mayo than anything
Coleslaw was on point Service was on point
Super exhausted with Northbay restaurants not really caring about food
None of the kitchen staff seem to have proper training in any of northbays local restaurants Just a job with a paycheque I suppose
