Ordered a piece of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake through North Bay Eats from The Dessert Factory for my daughter’s birthday. I live far away from her and thought I’d surprise her with delivery of her favourite cake as we couldn't celebrate her birthday in person. I received a call from the restaurant late afternoon that they didn’t have this cake even though it was available for order. This was extremely disappointing as it was her favourite so I had to settle with ordering something else. It arrived earlier than instructed but thankfully she was home. The second disappointment was that the $25.35 piece of cake was not even the size of a nectarine. What was supposed to be a special birthday surprise for my daughter who was spending her birthday alone was a very expensive disappointment. I’ve ordered from here before and the piece of cake was at least 2 or 3 times the size of today’s order. We will not order from her again.

Couldn’t find the store front and had to ask someone. Once we arrived we told the waiter we would like to order some desserts and we were told it’s take out only. The restaurant was basically empty on an early Friday afternoon and I was thinking who would send 5 paying customers away. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere.

We stopped in for lunch. The restaurant was full, so that's a great sign. The service was GREAT! Very welcoming and attentive, especially with our toddler. The food was mediocre at best - lots of options, but nothing felt overly out of this world. I think we would try a different restaurant next time we're in North Bay, but that is not because of the service.

Epic fail!!! used to be a good fish and chips but when we ordered using Skip Dishes we had a horrible experience. First delivery showed up cold (not warm... COLD) and minus the coleslaw. There was not enough vinegar that could make these potato sticks edible. Called and talked to on-duty manager and the second order showed up pretty quick with a warm piece of fish and COLD chips. Used to be our favourite fish and chips in town... no longer. Good bye Cecil's! This was a treat for ourselves on a Friday night and what a disaster X2!!

Suggest trying the reuben and also the chicken parmesan. Waitress asked how the Yellow Tail wine was. I said it was ok. She said it may have been old, so she offered to open up a new bottle. Much better. No IPAs though! If we are back that way, we would definitely put this on our list

My hubby and I were visiting North Bay. I had not been there since over 50years ago. My family vacationed from Ohio every year back in the day. This was a bucket list vacation. I was not let down. Cecils was a highlight of our meals. Happy Hour Martini, varied menu., superb service, and wonderful presention, at appropriate prices. Grahm our server was very personable and professional. He likes his job or at least acts like he does. He should be commended. He interacted with his patrons just enough.Kudo to him. The meals were great I had the Beef Bourg and hubby had wings and french onion soup. Both so tasty. As per review a to go dessert we got the strawberry white chocolate It was so so tasty. Superb Meal High recommend. Ask for Graham he was great

Our family went to Cecil's to celibrate Mother's Day. To start, my son picked out this restaurant because he wanted to try their in house brewed beer. The atmosphere was nice, but our first disappointment was they weren't brewing any beer at the moment, so none was available. Our meals were next. I ordered the Beef Bourguignon, which turned out to be just a microwaved beef stew. It was part warm and part ice cold. My son ordered the Top Sirlon Steak. It was as thin as a slice of roast beef and so over done he could barely cut it. He said it was the WORST steak he has ever had a t a restaurant! My other son had the ribs, which he said were mediocre at best. The french fries we recieved were all cold and tasted like cardboard. They were totally UNEDIBLE! The only decent thing was my wife's meal which was a Caesar Salad and the Four Cheese Shrimp which she said were both good. The waitress just seemed to be bored with her job and wasn't very pleasant. To top it all off, I thought I would try a glass of their house red wine. Big mistake. It was a terrible glass of wine. Overall this restaurant is way overpriced for the VERY POOR quality of food that they serve. I would advise you to take a pass on this restaurant and go somewhere else.

Had dinner with two other couples at beginning of March 2022. Food was overpriced and not worth anywhere near what they charge. French fries were soo overcooked they were hard to eat. (Literally). The prime rib was o.k but I guess they think thick gravy is au jus, as should accompany prime rib and was advertised to come with. For 45$ you would think they would know the difference. Service was also really slow and none too attentive. Will not be returning. EVER..

Banana cake was incredible! Best ever! Don’t know what these other reviews are talking about.

Looking for another place. Saw Cecil’s and decided to give it a try. It was a pretty good choice. All Corvid protocol seemed to be followed. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pre-ordering we received a half mini loaf and butter. The bread was bland, and the butter tasted old. Ordered two different meals. One was a steak. It was cooked just right, tender and tasted great. I had the Prim Rib. It was tasty and cooked just right, but a little bit tough and chewy. The baked potatoes were cooked just right, served with butter and sour cream. Lots of choice in the beer department. We ordered a couple of different ones and they were good. The place has a nice atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable. I would return, and I recommend it.

I've had better cheesecake from the bakery at Sobeys, and the fieldberry stuffed crepes were like a rolled up egg with fruit and runny cream filling. I also got dripped on from a leaky ceiling pipe while I was waiting for my food, and noticed it was dripping throughout the whole restaurant.

Every cheese cake ordered from here has been amazing. Price is great, taste is even better, a must try if you love dessert!

The cherry cheese cake rolls were delicious and fresh. The banana cake unfortunately was the worst cake I've ever tasted. It had no flavor and was really stiff and dry, like it was in the fridge for a long time. ?Everyone has told me to order from here but my first experience with the cake was very disappointing.

Lunch on the patio was wonderful. Great food and service!! They were very busy but kept service very fast and friendly. I had the apple cranberry goat cheese salad and it was really good, the server said it was the best seller of the day and I can see why.
