I love their pogos! It's hand dipped deep fried deliciousness on a stick. It can be a bit of a wait but it's worth it in my opinion.

Ordered two small poutines to go and they we’re almost 20$ for them. Fries were brown and not from the gravy it’s like they pre cook the fries ahead of time and then they throw them back in the fryers. Gravy was flavourless. Wife got rotten fries in hers. Just awful for the price we paid I understand that running a business is tough and expensive now days but at least make good quality food for what your charging. I won’t be returning to this chip stand until I hear they have done a lot of changes.

All I can say I will never return we paid $20.00 for two small Poutine, gravy has no flavor and we had over cooked fries and fires that were gone bad that should have been taken out before serving them to customers. Very disappointed with this chip stand. Tried to upload the picture of my rotten fries but there is no option.

I have stopped at TJ’s once a year when passing through town for most of the past 20 years. The food is just as I would expect from this type of diner but never had I had a meal I didn’t enjoy. I’m sure as the help changes a bit throughout the years the quality of food may change slightly as well. As long as I keep passing through this area on our summer vacation I will make it a point to stop here for lunch on our way home. Great job TJ’s!
Every time I’ve gone it’s been the same thing. Tiny chunks of overcooked fries that nearly break your teeth, covered in gravy that tasted like it was 90% salt. Portions are good for the price you pay but the quality is not good in my opinion. Friendly staff who look like they’re trying their best but unfortunately the food is not very good.

45 minutes and still no food. How hard is it to deep fry pogos and fries?Food came out 55 mins after ordering, hate complaining but was not good. Tiny overcooked fries, pogo overdone and chicken fingers were inedible.Won’t be back

Horrible. We ordered then they called us and said our order was ready. We didn't order what they were giving us and we had to wait another 20 minutes. Got home tried to eat it and it was horrible. Never again

This was our 4th time here this year. Once was not bad but we just had fries. I don't write reviews very often especially poor ones, I am a business owner also and I know that they are important to small businesses. That being said 4 times and the same results. Fries are overcooked and way too much crunchy small pieces.Tonight, my wife had a quarter box of tooth breakers in the poutine plus a chunk of raw hamburger mixed in to extra flavour. The gravy had some sized clumps in it as well. My fries were close to the same & the side gravy like hers. I'm not asking for a free meal or anything like that. I think the staff needs to take more care& pride in what is being served.The pogos are made in house, not the frozen ones & they are pretty good.They should ask for some advice from the last ownerI think this was the last time we stop for this season.

I went here last night. Their French fries and pogos are unforgettable! I will definitely order them again. I am anxious to try more of their menu. Their fries were very crispy, just like I prefer. Compliments!!!!
