I have chosen to take many people to this restaurant many times as the food and the atmosphere is excellent!!
David, our waiter couldn’t be more courteous and helpful and the food is always fresh and delicious.
When you ask for a quiet table so that speaking with your guests is easygoing.
We have lived in this neighborhood for 30 years and this has been our favourite restaurant to take our friends from out of town or to meet our friends who live in Toronto for and excellent dinner.
My neighbour said this place was amazing so I had to try it. My meal was fresh and delicious. I had an excellent experience and the service was 10 stars I can’t wait to go back again!
Great good excellent
This intimate restaurant surprises with thoughtful cooking and warm, attentive service. Each dish was crafted with balance and care, elevating familiar flavors into something memorable.
We began with Tiger Shrimp-five plump shrimp in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce, rich and refined. The Beets & Goat Cheese Salad offered contrast: roasted beets, goat cheese, orange, and seeds over fresh greens, all tied together with a house balsamic dressing. A raspberry sorbet intermezzo was a refreshing and elegant pause before the mains.
The Beef Truffle Pasta was indulgent: tagliatelle tossed with tender beef tenderloin in a velvety truffle cream, finished with Parmesan. The Duck-while its skin wasn't crisp-was flavorful and tender, its sweet orange reduction complemented by caramelized fig, apple, and oven-roasted potatoes.
We ended with a Polish Pavlova and a chocolate brownie, both well-executed, along with a smooth Americano.
Every plate impressed. We'll be back-and soon.
Exceptional service, magnificent food.
Incredible place. I wish I knew about it sooner.
After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to dining at 12 Tables, however, the food was quite disappointing. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu meatball and mussels. I can say the only good thing about the Starters were both sauce are decent...but both dishes were overcooked, and also both didn't blend well the sauce..
For the main course, we had the seafood pasta (frutti di mare). The pasta was slightly too firm and could have been softer. The sauce was fine, but the shrimp was overcooked, and the squid, along with the rest of the seafood, was nothing special.
The biggest disappointment was the duck. When I cut into it, the meat quickly fell apart, almost as if the chef had mashed it together and covered it with the skin. The texture was not tender—it resembled meat typically found in soup. The only redeeming quality of the dish was its presentation, which was well done.
On a positive note, I appreciated the complimentary bread (although it was cold) and the small side dish. Additionally, after the starters, they provided a raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palate, which was a nice touch.
What saved this experience from a lower rating was the service. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making this review a three stars..if only the chef improves their cooking skills, the overall experience would have been a lot better.
P.s. Parking isn't easy here...
All the dishes were created in house. I love all we ordered. Except the sea baaa was a bit disappointment. The price was really reasonable.

beef tartare - the flavor is good, but it was not chopped enough, it was kind of like just raw beef mush/paste
duck - very overcooked, very dry, despite waiting around an hour for it. the flavor is very decent, maybe a little too sweet, but with it being so dry and cooked too long, it just ended up not tasting very pleasant.
service was maybe slightly below average. they didn’t have the best tone/attitude. and for some reason when i was waving them down, they were right next to me and no response, this happened the entire dinner. not sure if they were just deliberately trying to not look my way??♂️

On the recommendation of one of our group, 7 of us dined at 12 tables. From reservations to the meal and the service , everything was wonderful.
Classmates for 44 years , we try to get together for a meal and a visit a couple of times a year .
The amuse bouch and sorbet to clear the palate anf the lemoncello served at the end were beautiful. Touches . The appetizers ( I had beet salad) were tasty .
The maims (lobster and shrimp pasta , salmon. Fresh whole sea bream and tenderloin ragout with nocci were all outstanding .
Our servers was attentive with water and drinks replenished. While leaving us to regale our stories and catch up on the past year .
Individual bills weee provided as requested .
Definitely an enjoyable evening for all .
Parking: After 6 around the corner there is free on street parking

I had the chicken trufle and the chicken was not tender and after that I switched to the carbonara and the pasta was under cooked and stick to my teeth while eating it. Also, the sorbet was not very smooth in texture. I was a bit disappointed as I had read great reviews. Maybe it was just a bad chef in the kitchen…

The service is attentive and great. The noise level on the Saturday night we went was almost untenable. We came at 7:30 and could barely hear our friends at our table. We would come again, but not on a saturday night.
Outstanding first courses (tartares in particular), cocktails always very good. Mains are a slight level below but the Pavlova for desert brings the experience back to very good. Worth the visit
Solid spot for Italian food. Enjoyed pastas and a couple of appetizers. Found the appetizers to be better than the mains though.
