I bought a beef and goat patty - both show little signs of filling (pic attached). Tasty enough, but sparse. Would probably taste better if there was an actual bite of filling? And the spicy beef was barely spicy.
If I had gotten with coco bread probably just a bite of dough and pastry. Usually a soft coco bread highlights a full flavourful filling - would’t happen here. Sorry can’t give a high rating.

I’ve loved their Pattie’s for years and always recommend and share boxes of Pattie’s with everyone. I would do 5 stars but it’s always disappointing that they close at 5 pm. Also if you go there 5-10 mins before closing they have nothing fresh for purchase - just frozen, and they’ve already started cleaning up so they leave right at 5 pm. My point is extend your hours because you’re missing out on business with your short hours considering you are located in a mall opened until 8 pm weekdays and other fast food establishments are open till later. It’s not accommodating. Love the Pattie’s, but the business hours are disappointing and deterring.

Been going here since I was a kid, being Jamaican Chinese we knew which were the best patties in the city and this is the top of our list, second being Michidean…I do miss them selling plantain tarts but love their consistent flaky and flavourful patties!!

This is a good place to pick up Jamaican patties, frozen or baked. If you're getting baked ready to eat, get it with coco bread. I also believe this place supplies patties to a lot of other stores, that's how I heard about them. Worth a try as the prices are pretty reasonable.

My very first experience and it did not let me down. I ordered a box of beef (mild) and (spicy) goat. Both were excellent the tender, flakey pastry was delicious and fresh. The filling was average. I personally, didn’t need more but, I can see others maybe wanting a bit more filling. For myself, it was perfect and loaded with flavour. Too bad I have to revel over 2 hours to get here !!!! And I really with they had vegetarian options !!! You must visit! It wont disappoint!

So it seems that Management has listened, and are filling up the patties with appropriate amount of meat filling again. After buying some a couple months ago, I was disappointed. I decided to give it another chance, and I bought a dozen just now, and was happy to see they were back filled up with the delicious beef filling. Allan’s is back on the menu!

Their service is always rude with attitude, but mor importantly these Patties are the worst , they are overly salty and very dry with very little filling. They changed it, now it’s terrible. I order 12 Pattie’s spicy and they gave me all mild without a care.
This is not the same quality product as the location on Kennedy Road. If you get them from here, they have about half the amount of filling and they are rockhard compared to the other location. This place is a disgrace to the Allan’s brand

It’s not about atmosphere, obviously, you’re in and out for patties and other Jamaican staples.
I can see why this is #1 patty on some lists. The pastry has a biscuit-like texture and flavour. It isn't flaky.. but it's still delicious overall. Definitely should try the spicy version next time I come in.
