I don’t know what we like more - the service, the food or the coffee! It’s a delightful experience every time we go, and the weekend brunch and weekday lunch menus are delicious. The owners are so supportive of our local community that we love to support them, we’ve told so many friends to check them out. They’re a true gem in our neighbourhood!
Feels like the way a local cafe should be! Lovely service, great menu for drinks, food, dessert, and takeaway snacks. I had a matcha strawberry breeze which was delicious and generous with the matcha. If I hadn’t already eaten lunch I would’ve tried the food too! The cheesecakes look fantastic. Can’t wait to come back and try more!! I also like that they’ve priced the menu items where they feel they should be, so people don’t have to make decisions about tips. And they have a board for neat community and store workshops too.
Had a pour over - it was excellent! The barista was very friendly and had a lot of coffee knowledge. Rare third wave find!
North York has a decent selection of independent cafes but Another Land's Flat White is my favourite. Hong, the owner, is very welcoming and the space is clearly important to the community.
Another Land Coffee is a quaint little gem nestled in Toronto, offering a mellow, relaxed vibe that's perfect if you're looking to escape the city’s usual hustle. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, an egg and cheese croissant, and a scone with jam and cream cheese. Everything hit the spot—simple, comforting, and well-made.
The ambiance was quiet and calm, making it a great place to unwind or catch up on some reading. Service was friendly and attentive; in fact, someone even asked to take my photo because of my hair—which added a fun, personal touch to the visit.
While there weren’t any standout features or particularly unique elements, it’s a charming, cozy spot for a casual coffee break. Overall, I’d rate it a 6/10—nice for a low-key stop, especially if you’re nearby.
I originally walked in just planning to grab a coffee with a friend, but we noticed they had a brunch set for only $20—and what really surprised me was that it clearly stated no tips required. Out of curiosity, we decided to give it a try.
Everything turned out even better than we expected.
We both ordered iced Americanos—one nutty and one fruity—and both drinks had the flavor profiles exactly as described. You could really taste the difference, which was impressive.
The brunch set included a cold soup as a starter, eggs benedict as the main, and a dessert. Each dish exceeded our expectations, both in presentation and taste.
The café environment was cozy and welcoming. My friend and I felt very relaxed and happy throughout our visit. A huge bonus: it’s pet-friendly, which makes the space feel even more warm and inclusive.
They also have a variety of local products on display for sale, which is a great way to support small businesses.
Even though the restaurant doesn’t require tips, I personally believe it’s still worth showing support and appreciation when it’s well deserved. :)
We’ll definitely be coming back!
It is a nice cafe, the food and drink is as good as the others but the best part is the atmosphere and vibe. If you want to meet friends and have an enjoyable afternoon, it would be a nice place to stay😍, I will visit again and remember to take photo next time
Their strawberry matcha was the best i’ve had in Toronto/North york. There was a great balance between the strawberry and amount of matcha. The oat milk they use is also very tasty. Definitely recommend trying this place!!
"As a coffee lover, especially a fan of macchiato, I can confidently say that Another Land Coffee Shop is a must-visit! Their macchiato is absolutely delightful—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The service is exceptional; the staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. The decorations are stylish and cozy, creating a warm atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding or meeting up with friends. This place truly stands out, and I can't recommend it enough for fellow coffee enthusiasts!"

Lovely staff, egg tart fresh out the oven, and my first time trying their tiramisu latte with oat milk. Expect for the sweet cream on top, it’s not very sweet overall and was perfectly balanced.

I love this cafe. The owner and her employees are so friendly. Whenever I go to this cafe, the owner waves hello and already knows what I want to order, the Heavenly Cream Fog, which tastes as good as it sounds. Their sweets are delicious as well. I recommend this cafe to everyone I know who is visiting Toronto since it is one of my favourites. If you are looking for a cozy cafe with a friendly atmosphere and great drinks you should visit this cafe.
