Food was fantastic, clean place, but I’m soley coming back because of how friendly the staff is. I flew in from the other side of Canada today with 4 hours to kill before my air bnb was ready and I truly was treated like family here along with my sister and nephew. Kindness is in Toronto, and it’s right here :)

Sadly our mom passed away. We decided on ordering our Shiva tray with Bagel Plus. From start to finish, the whole process was exceptional. I bought bread and a Muslim lady with dirty gloves and touching money with same glove and bread gross will never go back no wonder no one goes there now more they all talk bad about this place now at synagog

Update to reply: it was a pie, to be more specific and it was purchased from this location. Got a large cherry no sugar added cake. Unfortunately it went to the garbage after first bite as the it had bitter taste
The first time I came in by chance. Since then, I came a few times, even though I live far away and have to travel across town to get there. Exceptional bagels are a great reason to visit. The best bagels I had in Toronto. The food is traditional Jewish and I do like some of it, but some pastry is so so. Very good service that feels human and personal. The atmosphere is that of a no nonsense traditional bakery. The place is functional and nothing fancy and nothing gentrified. OK by me.

Love this place. The selection is amazing and the staff superb! My husband is a great fan of the danishes, especially the cherry cheese danish. I myself love the variety of bagels. Also offers many different kinds of bread. Also tried the egg salad and the tuna salad. Very tasty.

Dirty, breakfast in that restaurant, we saw a baby cockroach chlorine on the wall next to us. We kind of complained and the owner came and flat it off with this finger Idon’t know where Landed!!
