I bought Golden assorted set (of 5), and a bean popcicle. The lady at the store was courteous and the sweets in display looked artistic. Pretty packaging as well.The popcicle and the sweets both tasted nice. Not a lot of additives therefore tasted the bean without a doubt, but rather gentle impression with right (light) amount of sugar. This would be a great alternative to lardy and overly sweet desserts, a healthy choice.There were some interesting items i.e. Red bean slush on the menu, I would like to try sometime.

Stopped by Bean House for a friend’s birthday, wasn’t expecting too much when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by the cute and cozy aesthetic and the incredibly friendly service! We settled on iron goddess kung fu style tea some bean cakes. We received both the assorted as well as just the red lentil variety. The tea was super soothing, we felt as though we could keep drinking it forever! The bean cakes were delicious, not too sweet, but went extremely well with the tea. They also do not use preservatives in the been cakes and they are also vegan! Overall, a hidden gem! We will definitely be back here again.

My friend was looking for a healthy, refreshing drink yesterday while we were waiting for our dogs that were getting groomed. We walked around the plaza and found Bean House! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with so much kindness and warmth! The place is sooo cozy, relaxing, clean and makes you feel at home. The sweet lady working the front was so helpful with my friend finding the perfect drink. I explored the menu and found such amazing healthy food priced so well! I got to buy amazing moon cake treats made of chocolate and chickpeas... Sooo DELICIOUS! They taste like fudgey brownies. Also the apple pie moon cake is out of this world yummy! I really can't wait to go back. The staff is so sweet and helpful! I highly recommend it to all.

Amazing place. We went on a whim this afternoon and had a great experience in the cozy cafe. The bean cakes are fresh, healthy and gluten free!! Ella is so friendly and knowledgeable about traditional Chinese sweets.Definitely try the ice teas with an assortment of their hand-made cakes when you go. It's a wonderful treat.

I accidentally found the Bean House on Don Mills Rd. I was looking for somthing healthy to eat, and found the most amazing bean soup!.... And I don't even like soup!! It is more thick like Chili and has a nice bite to it, flavoured with good spices. Now I go there all the time! Absolutely excellent!

Easily one of the most welcoming and comfortable cafes I've been to in Toronto. The staff is very friendly and the food is top tier! I live in the west end of the city and would very much make the trip over to enjoy a tasty meal here!
