I am a regular customer ( Scarborough location ) and buy catered food . I was surprised ,having not as good as it use to be experience .I bought food for 20 people on Jan., 27 , 2024 ( where as I had only 14 guests showed ) . While serving the food , quantity was not enough as not every guest ate every item . I am surprised that how come food delivered for 20 people was not enough for 14 people . Something was not right .Thought to share my experience as I am thinking now that should I visit Bengali Sweets next time or find another place. And , one more thing : In Paneer & Raita , Paneer pcs. / Boondi was very less ( after few servings , guests had only Paneer cury / yoghurt left to eat .

The taste and quality of their sweets is really supreme. The sweets are fresh and not overly sugary. The doda, motichoor ladoo and all kinds of Barfis are amazing. I would definitely recommend. They are even better than many popular chain spots.

I have been there yesterday and the young lady at the counter have no manners !!! When I entered the shop she did not even reply to my greeting and even when I left she did not even say bye ! They dont know what is good customer service ! . If you don’t know how to speak with customers please close this shops ! Very bad experience ! Only good things is the sweets .I will not recommend this place to people .

I don't recommend buying food or sweets from this place. I ordered a Thali a couple of weeks ago and as i was eating the food, felt something sharp in my mouth. It was a staple pin. I am so grateful that i felt it on time and didn't swallow it. Such a negligence on the part of the restaurant.

Ordered food for delivery and the service was fast, which was great. The f samosas were a little dry for my particular taste, but they had good spice in them which I loved. I would not have the samosas again, though I would be open to trying some of their other dishes to see how they compare.

I really enjoy most aspects of this place, but there is one particular issue that bothers me. The fact that there is only one person responsible for taking orders, bringing them from inside, packing items, and handling payments is quite inconvenient. Just the other day, I had to wait for a whole 30 minutes simply because I was third in line and wanted to order two lassis. While the quality of their lassis remains consistently good, the subpar customer service and lengthy waiting times truly diminish the overall experience
