I don’t usually write reviews but this was the worst ramen I’ve had in Toronto. My friend and I got the smoked duck ramen and gyoza and honestly everything tasted like microwaved leftovers. The duck was not fresh at all and the flavour didn’t pair well with the rest of the dish. The broth was very weird and I hated the noodle texture. Also, I’ve never seen a ramen restaurant mess up on soft boiled ramen eggs. The gyoza tasted like they heated up frozen gyoza and it wasn’t even crispy on the outside. Definitely worse than food court ramen. Maybe I just came on a bad day but with such high reviews, I’d expect some consistency. The service and atmosphere were great but I wish the food was edible.

The food and service were decent, but the ramen lacked depth compared to others I’ve tried. Adding more spices and sauces could really improve the overall taste.

Went here on a date and it was such a nice atmosphere with good lighting and comfortable seating. I got the curry chicken udon and oh my gosh it was so good the chicken was nice and tender with lots of flavor and it was even better when you dipped it in the curry, completely recommend to go with friends or just on your own!

This was truly the worst ramen restaurant I’ve ever been to.
I visited on a cold day expecting a warm bowl of ramen, but the ramen was served completely lukewarm.
The noodles broke apart easily and tasted strongly of raw flour. I left most of it unfinished.

The karaage appetizer was served after I had already finished the ramen.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.🤮

I would have given this restaurant five stars, except for their awkward behaviour. The first time I came, they didn't have the salad ready, and the girl asked me to wait for ten minutes. It happens, I thought to myself, even at the best places. But when I came the second time and asked for miso soup, and the girl responded that they didn't have any, I couldn't believe it. The miso soup is the staple of every Japanese restaurant. Not having a soup (or a salad) is truly weird. Moreover, when I asked if they had bottled beer, the server said she didn't know. I decided to leave.
The food I had the first time was delicious, and so was the miso soup with cabbage. The place looks nice. It is spacious and naturally lit by huge windows. With additional cleaning of the premises (windows, entrance, etc.) and a steady supply of food and beverages, it could be a perfect place to dine.

Curry udon Karrage bowl had incredibly small portions - 2 pieces of chicken for $25 is quite unfair

Cute place with comfy environment. Tonkatsu Nabe ramen was super tasty and flavorful and they serve it in iron plating which keeps it hot for much longer. Great choice of drinks.

It’s my second months in toronto, and it’s the best resturant I have been to.

Feels like backing to the time when I was in Tokyo - the food and quiet atmosphere is much above the average in Canada, given the same price range.

I do love the seats near the window, it captures bustling street views clearly. I wish I could stay longer and enjoy it but they seems getting close at that time.

Last but not least, the servers did remember my preference made 2 weeks ago, which made me very shock and surprise - but appreicate it, thanks!!

The rice is over cooked that was totally sticky and softy, almost like congee. And for the ramen, the thin noodles have better texture than thick boodles, but all ramens were too oilly. That you can even see a layer of oil floating abover the noodles and soup.

Pretty standard Japanese restaurant. Food is decent, as in it is just average. Tbh many of the things don’t taste fresh cooked.
The price to portion ratio as well is mediocre. Nothing a bad choice, but would not go out of my way to return.
