Good food but not extraordinary for the price. It's not filling as well. Also, their food really doesn't taste special - it tastes like food you can get anywhere else. No uniqueness or color.
I would only come here if someone else is desperate to come.

Amazing experience at Café Landwer . Manager Ms.sarina and Ms.shina are so kind ! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the coffee is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. You can really feel the care and passion in everything they do. Highly recommended!

Brought friends here from out of town and we were really disappointed with both the food and the service. This place used to be decent for the price, but it has gone completely downhill over the past year. Portion sizes have been cut in half, they replaced their fresh pitas with focaccia, and the overall quality has suffered. I ordered a falafel burger that was so dry I seriously considered sending it back. There are so many amazing restaurants in this area—I highly recommend going elsewhere. I will not be going back.

We’ve been to Cafe Landwer several times, and it’s always been consistently good — until now. This visit felt completely different, and not in a good way. The food was acceptable, but the service was painfully bad. The male waiter was icy, detached, and seemed genuinely annoyed to have to do his job. It wasn’t just “not friendly” — it was uncomfortable. The lack of basic hospitality made the whole meal feel tense and unwelcome. I’ve never experienced service like this here before, and it turned what should have been a pleasant visit into something we couldn’t wait to end.

Overall, a solid spot with a nice atmosphere and good food. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult, especially during busy hours.
Also, while the quality is decent, the prices feel a little high for what you get. Still, it’s a good place to visit if you’re in the area and don’t mind paying a bit extra.

Apparently, this focaccia bread is “freshly baked and supposed to be like this” according to the manager at this location. What do you think?
- I paid for the bread after being told it was “supposed to be like that.” $15.95 for bread and dip—about $20 after tax and tip.
- I contacted the head office and they later apologized and offered a $20 gift card.
- Unfortunately, it just covers the burnt food I shouldn’t have paid for and asks me to come back. $20 barely covers an appetizer, and it doesn’t make up for the experience.

It was very busy when I went with my partner so it took some time to give our order and get our food. The food overall was good, I got the Angel Hair Rose, and a few drinks. The food overall was decent and the atmosphere was nice. Would recommend for a date or a hangout with friends on a quiet day, but would not return back.

Heard about it and I’ve always passed by it but today was the day where my partner and I were able to try it ! Delicious first time trying a dish like this definitely will be coming back. The service was great and the vibe is definitely there.

Food
I ordered Landwer’s Shakshuka, which came in a generous portion and was very filling without feeling heavy. The flavors leaned on the mild side, making it an easy and comforting dish rather than a bold or spicy one. The tomato base was clean and straightforward but lacked a bit of depth, especially if you are expecting something more robust or punchy. There were options to choose different types of bread, and I went with the pita. The pita was easily the highlight of the dish for me, warm, soft, and perfect for scooping up the sauce. I also tried their famous iced tea, which followed the same theme of subtlety. It was refreshing, lightly sweetened, and not overpowering, making it a good pairing with the meal.
Service
The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient, and professional throughout the visit. I had a reservation, which they honored without any issue, and my table was ready when I arrived. Everything felt well organized and smooth.
Ambiance
The restaurant had a lively and energetic atmosphere, with a steady buzz from the crowd. There was plenty of seating, though tables were set fairly close together, which is expected in a busy spot. The décor was clean and modern while still managing to feel warm and inviting, creating a cozy environment despite how busy it was.

I’ve been coming here regularly for a while and one of the main reasons was the free parking. It used to be straightforward and there was always a parking validation code at the front.
On my most recent visit, that’s no longer the case. You now have to ask your server for the code after you’ve already parked, which means either going back outside or awkwardly interrupting service just to avoid paying for parking.
It might sound small, but it completely changes the experience and adds unnecessary friction to what used to be a smooth visit. For a place that promotes free parking, this feels poorly thought out and inconvenient, especially for returning customers who relied on it.
Unfortunately, this was enough to make me reconsider coming back. Do not eat here.

Love this place. I go very often and the food is amazing, service is fantastic. My only qualm is that the perfume in the bathroom is so strong and nauseating to smell while trying to eat. It's so strong that I can smell it on me long all day long. My husband isn't even sensitive to smells and even he complains about it. It's like when you go to those old department stores and someone sprays that gross cologne. Kind of off putting especially these days when so many people are allergic or sensitive to heavy perfumes.
