So… my wife and I have been regulars at this gem of a restaurant ever since we moved into the neighbourhood over a year ago. We’ve always had our go-to favourites—the Truffle Mushroom Pasta (absolutely addictive!) and the Fresh Grilled Salmon (perfect every single time).

But today, we decided to branch out and try two of the Chef’s specials: the Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta and the Sea Bass with layered potatoes. OMG—both dishes were out of this world! Flavor-packed, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. These weren’t just good… they hit it out of the park.

Looks like our “all-time favourites” list just got an update. Bravo to the Chef and team—this place keeps surprising us in the best way possible!

I recently visited Cafe Landwer at Yonge and Sheppard, and I absolutely loved it! The cozy environment creates a perfect vibe for relaxing or catching up with friends. The decor is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind. The menu offers a delightful selection, and the service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience!

I went for brunch on a Saturday. The service was friendly and timely, but not rushed. The food was good but the hollandaise sauce was a little tasteless, missing the tang.

One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever seen, and management needs to be aware. We requested to sit outside, but the server (Iranian tall girl with dark hair) completely ignored us for nearly 10 minutes while chatting on her phone. When she finally came over, instead of apologizing, she tried to force us to sit elsewhere when we requested an empty table outside. Her reason? “It might rain” even though rain wasn’t expected for another 3 hours! she wanted go seat us at a table for 6, then said she “couldn’t open a service” for just 2 people. The attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly insulting.

This is not just a minor slip in service, it shows a lack of training, respect, and basic hospitality. If management cares about their reputation, this type of behavior should be addressed immediately.

I recently tried the creamy chicken pasta from the special menu at Café Landwer, and it was absolutely delicious! The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. Every bite felt comforting yet refined.

What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from our waiter, Ferdos. He was attentive, kind, and made sure everything at our table was perfect. His professionalism and warm personality truly elevated the whole dining experience.

I’ll definitely be coming back—not just for the pasta, but also for the outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend Café Landwer, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Farado as your server!

I loved this place! The restaurant’s style is super cool and stylish, and the staff are genuinely kind. Even though we arrived during a busy time, they were thoughtful enough to change our table, and when the food took a little longer, they kept checking in to make sure we were happy.

The food itself was amazing! The hummus is truly next level, it tastes just like authentic Middle Eastern hummus, and all the dishes we tried were delicious and very filling. I left completely satisfied. Such a great spot!

Chaotic to say the least. On a regular weekday, it took nearly an hour for two pasta dishes and two so-called ‘focaccias’ (really just flatbread) to arrive. Both underwhelming. The server did her best to make us feel better, but it seemed like the kitchen was struggling and the poor girl had a ton of problems with other tables as well.

I've been here several times since its open and have always enjoyed every dish i ordered. My favourite is the shawarma plate, the chicken is tender and juicy. The bread is phenomenal with the dipping of hummus on the side. But they can get a bit slow to serve the food during peak times. Pet freindly in the patio.

Update to my review: I’ve come back multiple times and our server Vlad has been great. I really recommend the Nutella lattes as well, they’re the best I’ve had

Great food as always, but this location did not have its act together today. Left standing 20 minutes waiting for food that was sitting ready, getting cold, for most of the time I was there. Ordered direct through their own site.

They'd clearly forgotten to make parts of the order and were not proactive about it.
