7 people , spend almost 600$. Even not enough food.Too expensive, quality so bad, food no flavour, service bad too, worst restaurant experience, but used to be good, now it is totally different. Will never go again !!!

PLEASE READ TO BOTTOM.

This should have been written a very long time ago…. (But I just learned how).

A few years ago, my wife and I (and sometimes with friends) used to enjoy going to Captains Catch for a great meal.
However two years ago, on my birthday, my wife and I, with relatives visiting from another city, went there for dinner.
We all ordered our meals, and yet got only a portion of what we ordered.
Of course a year later, for my birthday, again, my wife and same relatives from another city, went to Captain’s Catch yet again.
In the area which we sat, no one was there.
We all made our orders, and yet having made full orders, I had ordered lobster which would come with vegetables and noodles, and what ever. They brought me one lobster, no head, no claws, hardly anything. No vegetables, noodles, nor anything else. Yet charged FULL PRICE.
Soon there after, more people came in and sat in our area. Many had exactly what I ordered, which really confused me.
I was really confused, and so I consulted the lady serving us.
From what in understood, it was the cook or the way others ordered, having maybe phrased it differently then me to get exactly what I ordered, or something.
The more I spoke to lady serving us, the less it made sense to me. I heard something about the chef or cook or what ever.
I just think that others should be made aware of this.
I may add, having spoken to the people that were with me, at which point I remembered…
Whilst we were all making our order, the lady serving us, yet on the phone, would not hang up whilst taking our order.

Further more, in the garbage bin behind Captain’s Catch, people are throwing away a mattresses, or a mattress. Yet with all the bed bugs spoken about in the area, I would see this as unsafe near a restaurant.
In passing this on, I would be safe to say I had only seen once, myself. But once is enough for me.

FOLLOW UP…

Today, Wednesday August, 13, the lady who served me , saw me in the area, and approached me.
Referring to my review,, the first thing she spoke of was having mattress(es) removed, involving a third party. Yet they had been there for a few weeks AT LEAST, and are still there now.

Following this she went on to say that she was on the phone for work
Purposes, whilst taking my order. This was both rude and unprofessional.

Then she went on about our orders.
Four of us made our orders (while she was talking on the phone). Yer we all got only a portion of what we ordered. The funny part to that, being, people walked in after my friends and I. They all got full orders which was what we ordered.
The lady told me something about how many pounds or what ever. To which I said we all ordered from their menu, saying exactly what we wanted. We never got that.
Funny how this morning, she said she was sorry about this, assuming that would make all better. I told her I never got my meal, and I paid a lot of money.

And what I seriously cannot understand, she apologized to me a few times. Then thought all was better, to remove my review or something.
YET two birthdays, two years, I never got what I ordered. I paid lots of money. To say sorry does not give me a meal nor the money I lost…
