This place is normally ok for food. But when I walked in I noticed the place smelled like cigarette smoke and saw someone smoking in the back of the store…. Yeah not today….

Went around 7pm on a weeknight and as soon as we walked in, we knew this wasn’t going to be the “Italian bakery” experience we anticipated .
The lady serving seemed perturbed that we wanted to buy hot food- or heaven forbid we had gone ahead with wanting some fresh deli and buns for our lunch the next day.
Since there was hardly any food , and what was sitting there, looked dry, we asked for two lasagnas ,vegetables, 6 buns and left.

I’m curious how/why this place can be 24/7
when there’s hardly and hot table items, deli counter totally bare and all of maybe 13 buns at 7pm?…And wth was the dessert??!!

Sadly this place could be 5 star worthy because the food was really good, but the. place looks uncared for, staff seems miserable, and it just lacks that Italian pride that most productive bakeries possess.
I will give it a second chance , maybe visit on a weekend to see if I can change my rating.

I had an amazing experience, The meatballs and panzo were absolutely awesome, full of flavor.it's clear that a lot of care goes into their dishes.
What really made my visit special, though was the service.the new ladies working there were incredibly humble and polite.

I've been coming hear as a child for over 30 years. Lately I find it's going down hill fast. Today I went in and was told nothings ready. I walked out with nothing for the frist time in my life. When The Italian lady's were working they would Always make somthing fresh for me. Even if I had to wait 5 or 10 mins. What a shame.

This place isn't the same anymore. The food sucks. And the people just don't care. All the hot food is old or dry. The new workers just don't care.
