Three stars because while the store has an impressive selection of Caribbean items I haven’t seen elsewhere, my experience was ruined by an uncomfortable encounter with another customer. A man repeatedly followed me around, harassing me for my number and offering to “take care of me” despite me saying no multiple times. I understand the store can’t control the behavior of others, but I didn’t like it at all. On top of that, there were also some male workers making comments in my ear, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. The workers are also not welcoming. Unfortunately, because of this, I won’t be returning though the store itself has a great variety of products.

My go to for lots of my Caribbean food stuff.
A home away from home...Good spot to buy Jamaican foods...
The meat are fresh.
Great service
A wide selection of Caribbean/ethnic foods, however, always check the best before/expiry date on products. Too often I've picked up items that have expired, sometimes months past the expiration date.
Great place for shopping. Just a bit pricey
I shop here whenever I need to buy foods from the Caribbean and I am never disappointed
I love this location. They have a lot of fresh food, fresh meats, and a lot of Caribbean items that you cannot find in other stores. Also, the gentleman at the back that deals with the meat by the name of Abdi is so friendly and so kind. He has a beautiful smile and amazing customer service.
Ensure that you check the date and quality before purchasing anything from this store— lots of expired items on the shelf.

Although small, this place surprised me with having a few hard to find items. This was my first time going there and I will be returning for future needs of these hard to find items. Thank you Danforth Food Market ??
Some of the produce was beginning to rot and still trying to sell at regular prices. Need to do better than that.
This your ultimate Caribbean grocery store. You can get almost anything you want from the Caribbean. I love getting Caribbean style bake goods and treats, different kind of teas and tonic and drinks and lots of seasonings, herbs, and spices. This store has been around for decades as it fills the void for those looking to buy Caribbean groceries that you won’t find in the chain grocery stores. They sell everything, and I mean everything including hair products, heavy duty aluminum pots like you would see in a Caribbean kitchen. They also sell barrel ( cardboard in all sizes and the tall blue plastic kind) for those who want to ship stuff back to their home country. $19.99 for the small cardboard and $65 for the tall blue red plastic. Check out the fruit market for imported Caribbean fruits and produce. There’s a fish market/counter where you can get popular types of fish like snapper, goat, parrot, doctor, grouper, herring, bangamary, king fish, salmon etc. There’s also lots of salted fish for your choosing. For meat eaters, the meat market sells fresh oxtail, goat, mutton, cow foot etc. you can get the regular frozen meat you would find in a grocery store. The staff in store can help you find what you’re looking for if you get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things. I have never wanted something and didn’t find at this store. There are a few Danforth Food Market stores in Toronto. Sometimes l, I would like to see the store neater but I realize the space is small and they have thousands of products
Teach the men dealing with the meat and fish how to be professional and not flirt with customers.
